If you enjoy staying in historical buildings or in this case, repurposed buildings, this location is for you!! Originally built as a bank and office building in 1928. This site completed an upgrade in 2013. It still has all of the charm and structural features, but now supports a hotel. Rooms are very nice and clean; plenty of hot water; AC works fine. There is a restaurant/bar are in the lobby serving drinks/food to 1pm and then back in late afternoon starting at 4pm. Perfect location for urban explorers. Easy walks around Downtown, Little Italy, Embarcadero. The building itself has some ”easter eggs” so make sure to check in with front desk staff about what to hunt for. There are two nightclubs nearby that do get rather loud in the evening, so if you are a light sleeper, or do not like excessive night/city noise, this place may not be a good choice. Suitable for all ages, and ramped access for wheelchairs and suitcases. Enjoy your visit! Happy Trails!

This is a really well renovated Marriott Property. The lobby is very well appointed and front desk staff are welcoming! Rooms are clean and modern excellent smart television. My only issue is with hotels in general post-Covid19. Housekeeping needs to stop touching the tissue boxes to make the tissues look like a flower and Don't fold the toilet paper. We learned from the science behind Covid-19 that germ and virus can transfer from hands and linger on surfaces for up to 7 days. This results in throwing those tissues in the trash and wasting them. Otherwise Housekeeping Is extremely quiet which is much appreciated and the hotel location is excellent!

Our stay at La Jolla Beach and tennis club was perfection. Check-in was a breeze and the gentleman that checked us in was super nice and helpful. We had a room with a kitchenette and it was big and comfortable for us. Yes, the rooms could use renovations. The carpets are old and in some spots had tears along the edges. Our room had a slight musky smell and to me it’s from the old carpeting. The furniture is old and just the overall room def needs updating. However, I will say everything was very clean. I had no issues with the cleanliness and the service provided by the room attendant throughout our stay. Breakfast and service at the restaurant was very good as well. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Now let’s talk about what truly makes this place a gem. It’s the beautiful beachfront property. You’re literally steps from the beach. So relaxing and beautiful and worth a million bucks. The amenities are great and though also showing a little dated was not a big deal for us. Dinner at The Marine Room was perfection and delicious. Honestly, I can’t wait to come back.

We had a really great stay recently. Would return and would recommend to friends. A favorite place, oddly, was the outdoor dining patio by the pool. Haley O made all our meals especially nice. The beach setting and sunsets also were really nice and I recall colleagues years ago saying ”We went here every year.” The only thing I'd change next time is the room location. Ours was in the very, very front, which meant there were zero inches clearance between our door and the main public thoroughfare. Noise late at night and very early in the morning were an issue with the AC being loud and needing to open windows for ventilation. A number of the other ocean-facing rooms were a bit set back and we would have enjoyed those better. Also, the advertised 'spa bathrobes' were never found. But overall this was a place we'd seek out on a return trip.

This hotel has a noble feel! The friends who went there fell in love, saying they liked it more than Ritz-Carlton in Santa Barbara.
I heard that there are many swimming pools, but we only saw one. The hotel grounds are too big, take a walk and take a look. If you are a golfer, you will love the environment more!
Its daily activities are also very rich. We participated in a qigong meditation at 9:00 in the morning, and it felt very good. There are free yoga classes and the like. Not boring
There are some restaurants to eat and drink ten minutes drive from the hotel. The environment is also super nice in that area, and it feels like a rich area.
A hotel worth visiting. I will visit again!

Very good hotel, whether it is software and hardware and the environment, basically no choice. Mainly talk about the environment. If you live, try to choose the valley view side, it will be more comfortable than watching the pool. It's just that the price of golf is too high to match the price of American courses.

This is an old hotel with rich cultural background, all the staff are very friendly, the room service is timely and in place, the bedding and mattress are very comfortable, the breakfast is not to mention, the weekend menu will be replaced with the brunch menu. All the above advantages allow me to tolerate the only disadvantage of zero view from the window. Parking is valet, there is a cvs at the door, and there is a taco that ranks first in the United States within five minutes' walk, which is pretty good, but there is homeless on the roadside

A century-old hotel, the style is gorgeous and elegant, the room is a little smaller. Good service

The hotel is located in the city center. In the gas lamp block, there are many red men and women every day. There are very few Chinese people. Many foreigners should come to vacation. After paying for Ctrip, they will have to pay the resort fee after check-in, which is about 40 dollars a night. But the other us grant, which is relatively resident, has a price/performance ratio and will not stay in this hotel. As a hotel, professionalism is a little lacking. The facilities are just like American hotels. Basically, all of them need to be equipped and there is no hot water bottle.

The water pressure is low, the sink is clogged, and the billing was not done properly. Other services and facilities were good. The bed was comfortable and the wifi connection was good. The location was very good.

The room is larger than the average hotel. There is an induction cooker with a refrigerator and a microwave oven, but it is not comparable to a hotel apartment. Simple dishes are available. Hotel breakfast is simple but completely acceptable, everyone is very order. The hotel parking 38 dollars for self parking, 45 dollars for valet parking. There is also a public parking lot around the price is slightly cheaper, the roadside parking lot resources are tight, and it should be free at night. The worst thing is that there is no supermarket around the hotel, you have to drive to buy things.

Marriott's in-house hotels provide cooking services. The location of this home is great, the rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and directly look at the sea view. The aircraft carrier of Midway Island is on the side. It is estimated that the distance is 100 meters in a straight line, and it will be across the road. It is also very close to the airport. The hotel provides a taxi service. It is only 12 dollars to the airport, which is very convenient.

The location of the hotel is very good, just opposite the Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum. The room is very new and comfortable, the hotel facilities are good, the gym is big and has a view, relatively speaking, the outdoor swimming pool is too small, the length looks like only ten meters. There is an Italian restaurant on the 19th floor on the top floor, which is very good. Half of the seats are indoors and the other is outdoors. There are many customers, so you need to book in advance

The hotel is nice. The guy at the front desk was very nice, upgraded the room and checked in early. The hotel has two sides, one side has a sea view, and the other side has a Midway view. I chose the Midway View Room. Probably the most suitable hotel in San Diego.
The only drawback is that the pool is too small and not clean.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the promenade and the old town. Comfortable bath and room. Good swimming pool. At the entrance they gave a voucher for kayaking or biking for an hour. Also vouchers for two bottles of water.
The situation that happened to us, the room was with the smell of dampness, that it was impossible to breathe, after a complaint it was quickly changed to us.

The hotel and the amenities were fantastic. The staff from the valet to the front desk to the concierge to the waiters and waitresses to the house cleaners were extremely friendly, helpful and willing to assist. A class act.

The room is small compared to the average resort, but it is big in the United States. The surrounding environment is very good, one side is the marina, the water raft is interspersed in the water; the other is the sea and the coastal park, there is a children's playground. Anyway, the parking lot next to the Binhai Park is free, and the hotel costs $29 a night. Breakfast is not like a domestic buffet, extra point, reasonable cost. The restaurant is in a good environment.

The location is very classic, with sea view scenery, bay area boat view, and mountain view, the facilities are complete and advanced, we are very satisfied, the service attitude is also very good, carefully introduce the surrounding scenic spots and food culture, give us a trip Added a lot of joy.
