The hotel is located in skoie, local friends say it is a good area, safe and convenient. There is a fast food restaurant across the road, where three meals can be settled, American sandwiches, soups, salads, coffee, etc. There are supermarkets and shopping centers nearby, and basic needs can be solved. There is a good restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, and the burdock is very good. Breakfast is relatively simple, scrambled eggs, bacon, bread, milk, fruit and coffee, there is no problem to eat. The room size is moderate and the extra bed should be in no position. The parking lot is large, and some are parking spaces, just stop.

Every time I go to Chicago to live in this hotel, hot water and hot coffee on the first floor are the highlights. Easy access. Opposite is the old orchard shopping center.

Hotel location is OK, the room is very comfortable, clean, the front desk service is very good, there is a 24-hour public coffee supply in the lobby on the first floor. The breakfast is quite rich in the American style, very warm.

Stayed here on our way out of Chicago for a night. And where to start. The place is a maze. A business motel style at best. No proper directions to where to park for which block. Definitely not an IHG standard hotel. Then to add it all up, in addition to the run down walls, faucets, rooms there were weird noises coming from the fridge, ac, bathroom. The internet was spotting all evening. There was a huge spider in the bathroom (😳😳😳) and dirty towels/rags laying outside rooms (YUCK!!!). To top it all up, the bed sheets had dried blood stains on the sheets (OMGGGGGG!!!) and bed sheets are TORN and un ironed. I called the front desk to complain and she (I believe her name was Chelsea) not only sounded not interested at all but very unapologetic , rather didn’t care. Seems the people running this place are cutting corners and really don’t care about the well being or experience of their customers.

I recently closed on some property in Evanston and needed a place to stay. I knew this hotel for years from the outside and was very happy with the room once I got in. It’s modern and clean and overall very nice. The only problem I had was the sheer size of the complex and the maze of hallways in order to find my room.

The hotel is located in a safe area of Chicago, surrounded by Jewish and Chinese wealthy areas. There are food supermarkets and other supermarkets opposite the hotel. At Whole Foods, you can buy box lunches and fast food similar to those in China. The combination of Chinese and Western food can fill your stomach. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to the commercial district of the local air force base, which is lively and delicious.

This was our first time here at a Renaissance Hotel and oh my we were taken back on how nice this place is. It’s a hidden place and I never knew this was around the area. Hershey at the front desk was the nicest employee that greeted and checked us in. She really made us feel welcome and took care of us. Hershey went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate her hard work and welcoming us with open arms. Hershey really had made us feel special guests the moment we checked in! We will definitely will be coming back here in the future! A great place for a home away from home.

I’ve never stayed at a Renaissance Marriott before, but it was a beautiful boutique hotel up north. Hershey the front desk agent was beyond kind and hospitable upon checking us in which was the cherry on top of our staycation. We will definitely be back soon enough if we ever need to get away from the stresses of life.

The Marriot Courtyard in Glenview is NOT the place anyone should stay at. Upon check in the staff was rude and treated me like an ***** for checking in at 9 am. I explained to the staff that I had booked the room for and paid the previous day (Friday 6/10) in order to ensure that we would be able to enter the room once our plane landed on 6/11. Once the staff member pulled up my reservation and finally listened to me she said “you’re already checked in so you just need a key?” In a rather rude tone to which I replied “I’m unsure of your process but yes just give me my room key so I can go”. I confirmed with the worker that we had a crib for my son to sleep in in the room due to us all immediately needing a nap, she confirmed that it was there and she saw the notes on my account asking for one. Upon entering our room my fiancé and I saw it was in disrepair, it was a “renovated “ hotel, yet the baseboards in our room where not straight they where warped from what we assumed to be water damage, along with a large crack/ hole in our bedroom wall. Under the two air conditioning units was about a 3 in high gap that ran the whole length of the unit filled with spider webs and every other guests dirt and grime. I found the crib that was supposed to be in my room was not there so I called the front desk and told the worker there was no crib and I need one for my 2 year old to nap, she said one would be there immediately. The ottoman had stains on it along with the pull out couch. I searched the room for sheets for the pullout couch since that is where my 2 daughters would be sleeping. There was none. I called the front desk where the once again rude woman told me to “look in the drawers” I informed her I already did in fact and there was nothing but a cheap old fleece blanket. The woman came down with some bedding and asked if the crib had made it yet and I informed her it had not, about 10 minutes later it argued at my door (at this point this is an hour past check in when I first confirmed it was in my room. I go to get my kids settled in bed for a nap to find they brought only flat sheets as bedding no fitted sheets for theirs cheep pull out couch, so I did my best to get it to stay on the bed my children where sleeping on. That night my children end up sleeping at their grandmas and it was only my fiancé and I in our room. In one night I encountered around 5 spiders in my room, but brushed it off despite my fear of spiders. The next night our children where back at our hotel. The following morning which was the morning of Monday 5/13 I woke up to about 6 more spiders around the room. I couldn’t handle that amount of bugs and went to the front desk asking to move rooms. The girl working that day informed me they where fully booked but could move me the next night and I agreed. Upon going back to my room my children had woken up and my 6 year old had a strange mark on her face I assumed from sleeping wrong. 30-45 minutes later my 6 year old was ful

The location is relatively biased, the surrounding area is also considered a wealthy area, the security can be, the hotel is very good, similar to the apartment type, there are also small balconies, the design style is simple and clean, comfortable, and the price of the stay is very reasonable.

The room is large. There is a kitchen in the house, the kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, two stoves, toaster, coffee machine and pots and pans. There is a free self-service laundry room, gym, swimming pool and more open 24 hours. The free breakfast buffet is also good. There are many shopping shops around, less than 1 mile to Costco. Every day someone cleans and changes bathroom supplies and bedding.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to an event we were attending and the availability of a two queen room with sofa sleeper which is hard to find to accommodate a family of 5. We were grateful to only be spending one night here. When we stepped off the elevator on our floor, we were overwhelmed by the smell of **** and the noise coming from room 315. Groups of people sitting in the hallways outside of their rooms and couples arguing… we weren’t sure what we might encounter but the night ended up being uneventful, thank goodness. While the sheets looked clean and the bedding was comfortable, the room was dirty. Sticky tile floors and a large wet spot on the carpet. Ramen noodles still on a wall??? Tortilla chips on the windowsill. Not even sure how that happens. Better housekeeping is a must for sure! Not enough towels even though our booking was for 5. Breakfast was okay and the staff was friendly. Another positive- it’s right across from the police station so that made us feel like our car might be a little safer in the unsecured lot.

It was okay, but inconsistent. The various people at the front desk seemed to not be knowledgeable about some of the things in the rooms. It seemed like they were a new immigrant family or something - communication was a bit of challenge. Neighborhood wasn't great, but I liked the forest preserve behind the hotel where I could take a walk. I had some trouble figuring out the heating in the room, but we figured that out too. One of the elevators is broken down. This property wasn't as nice as most HIE hotels. The lobby seemed especially chaotic. When I return to the area, I will probably choose a different hotel.
