It is not easy to have such a hotel on the top of the mountain. It perfectly preserves the appearance characteristics of the Hani mushroom house. There is a short distance from the parking lot to the hotel that requires walking. Hani aunties will wait in advance to help carry the luggage. It is very close to the Azheke Ancient Village. The room was upgraded for free. The view is very good. The cherries at the door of the room are bright red. The breakfast variety is very rich.

We were on a family road trip and expected to arrive at the hotel around 11 PM. We contacted the owner beforehand to see if they had dinner options, but since it was late and all the surrounding restaurants were closed, including the hotel chefs, the owner kindly cooked for us. He prepared several dishes, which were delicious, reasonably priced, and very generous in portion size. The owner also thoughtfully prepared some white fungus soup for us, which helped relieve the fatigue of the six-hour drive. Everyone in our group praised it highly, saying it was the most satisfying meal of our Yunnan trip. The guesthouse paid great attention to detail – a truly warm and welcoming place! We wish the owner great success in their business!

I would say everything was great except the room. Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided. Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Though the breakfast offered was not to the standard of a luxury hotel I would say. Otherwise, all is good. 👍

The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities and equipment. It had a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window with a pleasant view. There was a children's play area, and the hotel had charging stations. The public viewing platform offered views of the sea of ​​clouds in the morning. The front desk staff provided a detailed guide to the scenic area, which was convenient for travel. The service was excellent. The car could be parked directly in the underground parking garage, and the elevator went directly to the guest room. The mushroom houses in Azheke Scenic Area were very unique, and water flowed from the mountain to the terraced fields at the end of the village.

Look at the price and then look at the breakfast. There are rice noodles (not yet made dumplings) what meat sauce is there, and then there is a cold white egg like, steamed bagged small steamed buns, White porridge............ This is a hotel with hardware like 4-5🌟, and the charge is also like Western food. When waiting for rice noodles, the chef said that he could not buy ingredients, so breakfast was like this............... This is also the reason...... Just on this point, I don’t think I will choose this one in the future...

The room was impeccably clean, the welcome fruit plate was fresh and exquisite, and even the night light was perfectly placed. The dining service was also excellent, with the chef recommending dishes based on my taste buds. The experience was truly captivating! What a delightful stay! We were greeted with fruit at the door, the owner was incredibly welcoming, and they helped us plan our trip perfectly, arranging everything from food and drinks to entertainment! The Hani Rice Terraces are spectacular; we could see the sunrise and the terraced fields from our windows and the rooftop – a truly pristine and natural beauty. The owner grows their own local red rice and organic vegetables, and they even have their own farm. Our breakfast ingredients were exceptionally fresh, allowing us to truly taste the natural flavors of the food. The room was comfortable and stylishly designed; definitely worth a stay.

This was my third trip to Yuanyang rice terraces to watch the harvest, that I am fascinated by, during harvest season My previous trips I stayed at OneNess Resort (1/2 mile from Cloud). Both are great. Oneness is newer but Clouds has a vintage personality that is hard to beat. When I arrived, I was disappointed that there was no regular chains or small desk or table to sit at to work on computer and organize the daily videos that I captured. I just mentioned this to the manager and I went out to explore the area. When I returned, he had brought a table and chair to my room and placed them on the rooms terrace. The people here are so friendly and I personally take service and friendliness of the staff at the top of my list, Two of the young girls (sorry for the phrasing but I man 78 and we always used to use that terms as a compliment) tracked me down to invent me to come to the reception area and they would make me coffee. I was heading out so they quickly went back to the main reception and then returned to give me several “brew in you room” coffee pods. Fabulous location, fabulous people.. I’ll be back - God willing.

The boss is very genuine and enthusiastic. The room is clean and convenient. There is a parking lot right in front of the store (charge is 20 yuan a day).
