Very pleasant hotel, parcing on the street or the garage. The personnel is very friendly and attentive. Breakfast outstanding. The rooms (superior) are big (for German hotels) and have a nice sitting area.

It looks nice, rooms are OK, bathroom too, but there is a problem with the AC. We got a room that was really boiling hot. I told the reception, they said they would come and see it. They didn't come. I tried to call them, they didn;t answer. I went down again to ask if they were still coming that day. Finally they did. They said the AC was working, but the air coming out of it was the same temperature as the room. After some discussion they gave us another room. The AC wasn't working there either, but since this room was on the north side it was cooler anyway. We survived, but AC should work.

I had a very generous room in the first floor, great mattress, beautiful bathroom with rain shower. I spent the evening in the associated restaurant. Great food! The pulpo and the lavender ice is a dream! It is an absolute secret tip and was totally unexpected, with many great flavors, top products, a great service and overall a very nice atmosphere. I can recommend it without tinkers.

From outside and at our first look was not positive. Very dirty and like no one is there 😂 But inside is one of the nicest holiday inn express that I went. Very friendly staff, room very clean as all the areas of course. 3 Elevators and very fast . Breakfast very nice and friendly waiters.

Eines der wenigen etwas neueren Hotels. Angeblich 4 Sterne, aber eigentlich nur gute 3 Sterne. Alle Zimmer sind gleich. Nur die auf den beiden höheren Etagen sind ca 10-15 € teurer. Lohnt sich nicht. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber. Aber halt kein 4-Sterne Niceau.. Wenn mal bei mehrnächtigen Aufenthalten keine Reinigung der Zimmer benötigt, bekommt man einen 5 € Gutschein. Für 5 € bekommt man dann an der Bar 1 Cola. Ich habe nicht gefrühstückt, weil meine Termine sehr früh beginnen. Aber ich hätte gerne abends etwas gegessen. Zumal ich immer sonntags anreisen musste und bis Mitte der Woche in SB war. An diesen Tagen haben in SB fast alle guten Restaurants Ruhetage. Auf der Website des Hotels ist nicht genannt, dass das Hotel-Restaurant geschlossen ist. Sehr unangenehm. Die 3 Mahlzeiten (Spaghetti, Chilli von Carne und …?) mochte ich nicht. In der Nähe dieses Hotels gibt es zwei weitere neuere Budget Hotels und ein drittes wird gerade gebaut..alle nur 3 Sterne, aber wenn sie neu sind, sind sie auch nicht schlechter als das Intercity. Erst jetzt habe ich erfahren, dass Intercity zu Steigenberger gehört….würde man aber nicht meinen. Um an das Hotel zu kommen, muss man durch einen riesen Stau…täglich !!! Die Baustelle wird noch einige Zeit dauern.
