"Early November 2019: I just found out that I was going to have to go to El Paso, TX to work for 30 days. The more I thought about it, the more I was not looking forward to it. I would be away from my family during Thanksgiving again, and I have lived in El Paso for 13 years. El Paso is a decent city but not the place I was itching to go back to. I started making my travel arrangements and decided, what the hell I’m going to make the best of it. My plan was to go to work, get back to the hotel, drink a beer and kick back in the hot tub. Then do the same thing the next day, the 30 days will fly by I figured. So I looked around online and found Residence Inn by Marriott El Paso, they had a pool and hot tub, free breakfast and free beer 3 days out of the week. I showed up at the hotel kind of exhausted after traveling half way across the country, so I checked in went upstairs to my room, unpacked and went to sleep. The next day while waiting for a co-worker I saw the window to the pool and walked over to look. I looked left, right (I even looked up just in case); there was no hot tub to be found. I was angry, but I also didn’t want to be late for work so I figured I would address it later. When I got back that evening, I asked the front desk to speak to the manager. She told me he would be in the next day. I was not a happy camper. The next day came and I went down to talk to the General Manager (Dereck, aka the warden). While talking to the manager, I got the impression that he actually did not care what my plans were for the 30 days and that he was kind of put off about having to speak with one of the inmates (I have worked for years in prisons and jails when I used to live in Florida). The warden advised me that they had remodeled and the hot tub was taken out and they “forgot” to take the picture off their official page even though they had pictures posted from after the renovation. The warden offered me some points that were good toward my next incarceration. I advised the warden that I would not be a recidivist, so I would not be needing those points. I returned to my cell angrier than I was before talking to the warden. I decided I would send a kite to the governor (Corporate). I explained my grievances to the governor and was told that the governor would tell the warden about my grievances (didn’t he pay attention? I already spoke to the warden and the warden did not care). After work release the next day I received a kite from the warden that said his decision was final, I would get points towards my next incarceration. What follows are some notes I was able to scratch out on a smuggled piece of paper: Day 3: This place is starting to feel like a prison, how did I end up here. I’m a law abiding member of society! Day 7: I am drifting off to sleep, thinking about the 3am alarm clock for my work release. It must be bring your kids to work day at the prison because there are small screaming voices racing up and down the hall outside of m"
"This is a fantastic hotel. The room was very nice and spacious. The hotel recently underwent a remodel and they did a fabulous job. It’s a little bit hard to enter the property by car there is only one sign and it’s a little bit hard to enter getting off the highway and coming off from the side streets. The hotel staff is very nice and friendly and outgoing and welcoming. The property features a gym, a little market place, a tennis court, basketball court and a little public sitting area and a indoor pool. The room was great with a stove, microwave and full size refrigerator. It was all very clean with pots, pans and plates forks and knives and spoons. It had a nice living room with a nice soft bed. It had a very modern look to it with many USB ports. My only issue was with the remodel I wish they redid the bathroom. As the toilet and tub looked out of date and seemed like they been there since the hotel originally opened. I travel to El Paso a lot and nice time I go and visit I am most definitely staying there again!"
"Our second stop in West Texas. Nicely updated and nice breakfast area. Even though it’s the holiday, i10 is busy and you’ll notice the very loud noise when you get out of the car. Thankfully! Inside it’s peaceful and quiet. It’s pet friendly here but we wished for more green space. Not much of an are for dogs to meander. That’s the only real drawback. Tip: to avoid the thrill of the i10 entrance with heavy traffic try entering the parking lot from the back, off of Edgemere Road. "

"The location is very good. It is in the center of the city. Nearby are the core values of the city-the Fine Arts Museum, the History Museum, the Cathedral, the Theater Square, and the Stadium. They are all a few hundred meters away. There are also trams for a ride. Social idlers are the main ones. The three mature steaks in the restaurant are great. The parking fee is not expensive. It would be a pity not to go to the Museum of Fine Arts."
"It's ok, can add an extra bed, no problem with children. The location of the hotel is very close to the high speed, it is very convenient to drive by car, there is a parking lot, but there is a parking fee of ten dollars"
"With parking, the hotel is conveniently located."

"The room was great, comfy king bed, a full size fridge and microwave to help with the making and keeping of baby bottles, the night staff however were not great. They over looked myself and son, more than once upon check-in, who I was holding in his car seat at the front desk and proceeded to help others that had walked in after us. Though the room was booked with points as a gift, the lady that checked us in (Elizabeth) asked for my card to put on file for any “incidentals”, which I had no problem with, she did not however inform me there would be a hold of any amount on my card and the hotel continued to add charges to the card throughout the entire stay, which left the account overdrawn in the end, and caused me an unpleasant amount of overdraft fees, due to this action. When I tried to ask her about the charges and talk to her about them, she was more than unpleasant to deal with. The breakfast was cold and not that enjoyable, I ended up only eating the sausage links after having to reheat them. The elevators kept going out of service and the TV remote did not work over half the time unless you held the battery cover tight and used force with the buttons, and the options for purchase as far as snacks and drinks were more than limited, and everything listed was not even available. I will be contacting corporate about my stay and not be staying with this location again on my next trip. It sadly was a waste of points and time dealing with this location and their staff. I truly expected more for my stay after traveling almost 10 hours on the road to get here and spend the weekend in town. I pray future guest have a more pleasant experience than ours."
"Had a bad experience at a property nearby and didn’t stay there. Looked for a property in close proximity but on a Friday night everything was booked. We were lucky to find a king room at Springhill Suites. The overall impression upon arrival was great. The grounds were clean, the lobby was well kept. We were greeted upon arrival by Elizabeth. She was so friendly and personable. The check in process was fast and efficient. Our room was a bit smaller than most king rooms, but was quite cozy, clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy, and most importantly the room was quiet allowing for restful sleep. The breakfast area was well stocked, with a wide variety of options to fuel up for the day. The location was great with access to restaurants, shopping and highways to navigate the city. I would highly recommend this property while visiting El Paso."
"It is rare that I write a review for a specific individual but I can not ignore the assistance that was provided to me by Guillermo. Guillermo went out of his yo way to ensure that my misfortune was made better by staying at this hotel. Thank you Guillermo! LeBron"
