Centrally located family-run hotel in a historic building of the 16th century. Kathi welcomes our group with contagious and natural friendliness. The rooms are tastefully furnished and very spacious. The breakfast buffet does not open any wishes and can accept it with any top hotel. Porridge with mango taste and Josefsbrood as well as house-made fruit yoghurts are just a few examples. Excellent service ! Possible manko for older people and no longer so mobile people : there is no lift in the house. We have felt very well !

Passau is a fantastic medieveal town to visit. The hotel is convenientally located in this wonderful city. One finds itself very close to both modern and ancient. One direction leads to the modern part of the city. In the other direction you find yourself in old town. The room we stayed was large and clean, with a great view right of the Danube. The entire facility was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was tasty and varied. I would reccommend Koenig for a comfortable stay in Passau.

Beautiful in its location, and room layout - facilities presented Spotless. Our room looked out at St. Pauls which is quite magnificent, in its architecture, history and location. Staff extremely attentive and professional. Breakfast, under the Supervision of Joseph - excellent quality & selection, in a beautiful room looking out over the Danube River. Wonderful location to walk Passau, the narrow, winding cobblestone lanes and alley ways. Degree of ”mountaineering” in your walking, that needs consideration to age & health status. Not to be disheartened - there is AMPLE flat joyous walking in this splendid German City. We will return sooner than later from our house in Budapest, Hungary to stay again in this Class deserving 4-star Hotel.

A delightful town, on a peninsular between the rivers Danube and Inn. Formerly a very powerful Prince Bishopric. Short taxi ride (or walk?) from the station. My first, and I hope not my last, visit. I urge you to stay at the Passauer Wolf. The front door opens onto the historic centre, and the back door onto the Danube Promenade. Very comfortable room with good bathroom. Excellent breakfast buffet, served in a room overlooking the Danube. Staff very pleasant and helpful. No restaurant, but the hotel has a bar and a small roof terrace. For an evening stroll, the Inn promenade is preferable to the Danube, which is where the huge cruise ships are moored.

The room is large, the breakfast is better, very close to the Pasha Railway Station. It’s a bit of a road to Sanhehui and the old city. It’s about a minute’s walk. I personally like this hotel.
