There is a chinese saying “Taihu Lake is a wonderful place because of Turtle Head Island.” During the early 20th century, social celebrities, officials and nobles built private gardens and villas on Turtle Head Island. After the founding of the People's Warlord Era, these assets were mostly taken over by the government and merged into The Turtle Head Park. It is currently an AAAAA attraction. There are taoist temples and buddha statues on the island. If you visit during the spring season, you will also be able to enjoy charming surroundings filled with cherry blossoms!
Reviews from Real Guests:
ニーハオ: You can go from Wuxi Station by bus for 2 yuan. I think it was about an hour. I went to the beginning of December. The red leaves were very beautiful. There are so many cherry trees and spring will be great again. I think it's good at any time of the year. When I looked at the tour guests, I felt like I was on the boat, but I was from the opening to the closing. There were some places that could not be put in repair work, but it is recommended for those who want to relax.

Moreover, Wuxi clay figurines from the town make good souvenirs, and the local food is also worth trying. In addition, Huishan Ancient Town is encircled by a north-south horizontal street and an east-west vertical street. At the eastern end of the vertical street, there is a large screen wall on which four big Chinese characters saying "Huishan Ancient Town" are inscribed.

Many great masters came to hold grand ceremonies during its opening, and thus Chinese locals believe that it will bring good fortune if one prays to the great Buddha. When you look up at the Buddha and walk left or right, regardless of where you go, the eyes of the Buddha are always watching you, as if "the Dharma is boundless and sees everything."
Reviews from Real Guests:
Sarah: I went on a Tuesday morning before 8.30am in term time so it was quiet, serene and not crowded. it got busier as the day progressed and tour buses arrived but nothing like holiday time in China. the all access ticket was 210 you can scan the code to get a ticket if the office isn’t open when you arrive. it includes a time for the show at the palace. I also paid the 40rmb for the hop in and off bus because the area is large and it was a boiling hot day so it was convenient and made the day more relaxing and pleasant. you can walk if you don’t fancy the bus the paths are beautiful and there are many shaded areas. there are many things to see; a Buddhism cultural museum; fantastic views and numerous places for food and drink. if you see the morning shows you’ll be pleased past various restaurants which are really expensive (500rmb a set meal). I’d skip those and head for some snacks in the downstairs lobby you’ll walk through before you can exit (includes drinks fruit ice cream etc) and wait till you get to the exit of the entire place as you’ll be forced through commercial city (like IKEA) until you can exit - but this place has many small food stalls that are cheap and cheerful with seating. I had special fried rice and passion fruit juice for 23rmb. you can easily spend a morning or an afternoon here. oh and one final thing - all the toilets were spotless and well stocked !
Miming: We went there the day before but it was snowing so we stayed at the hotel and planned to go in the morning instead. The Weather was great (we’re blessed by Buddha) 🙏🏻💛 Because we’re from another City, Shanghai and foreigners the staff was checking our passports and Green Codes. It’s a little bit hustle because he takes tome on inspecting it but we fully understand. It’s for safety purposes. The place is clean and the music is solemn. We bought the ticket inside. East and Convenient. We also watch the Show and it’s surprisingly amazing. And Finally Got t ok the Top and Prayed at Buddha. Not too many people the weather was excellent only little sprinkle of rain. Amazing!

This place is also known as the former residence of Xue Fucheng and the Imperial Palace. It is located in Wuxi City. It was the residence of Xue Fucheng, a thinker, diplomat, and representative of the early bourgeois reformists in the late Qing Dynasty. Today, the gate of the former residence still has a blue background with gold characters inscribed by Emperor Guangxu. The imperial envoy". Its architecture is a combination of Chinese and Western styles. The first four entrance halls, sedan chair hall, main hall and back hall on the central axis are all Chinese-style buildings, while the Turntable Building, Danzi Building and the eastern residence are Western-style buildings. Among them, the main hall is the most important and luxurious hall in the whole house. You can see many brick carvings, wood carvings, as well as flying gold lighting and red lacquer painted brocades, all of which show its style. The existing large turntable building in China is also impressive. It is two stories high and has a "back" shape with a patio in the middle. There is currently a restaurant on the upper floor of the turntable. Interestingly, these were designed by Xue Fucheng himself. They used double-section and double-row columns to turn the nine-bay room that exceeded the regulation into three three-bay rooms, and also divided the turntable building into the stipulated five-bay room. It seems that this high-ranking official in the late Qing Dynasty. He also has the talent to be an architect. In summer, major festivals and other times, night tours are sometimes held in this place.
