The ride with a bamboo boat is nice, but if you are a sporty person I would recommend hiking onto different peaks even more. The views are stunning and on some peaks you’ll experience an adrenalin spike because the the steep stair sometimes lead through very narrow craks in the stone. Definitely not for people who are scared of heights or claustrophobic! But otherwise a good adventure.

The embarkation point is located at Xincun Village, thus it is best to enjoy some lunch or snacks at one of the surrounding restaurants before the journey commence. The bamboo raft will only start once they have 8 passengers. I was quite lucky as there are already a few passengers before me. It doesn’t take along before we manage to gather 8 passengers.
