Trip.com User: I visited Thaiwoo for a quick weekend getaway in mis-April and had a great time. the Element hotel was wonderful, and the gondola lift was running all the way to the top of the mountain (it actually takes 2 lifts to reach the summit) where they had a nice outdoor area to enjoy the melting ice and snow. The Brew Pub Brewery at the base of the gondola was the real star - fantastic beer and great food, and a surprising list of drinks and friendly people. their train map shows a SJU run near the Great Wall (!!!) so, in addition to the multitude of snow machines, I can’t wait to ski here during the winter. Lots of construction there right now and I can’t wait to visit again once everything is finished.
