Family run hotel with very nice staff. Away from the main strip, so much quieter. The room was sufficient, with hot shower. There were lots of mosquitos and no nets in the room. Outside areas could have have been more inviting for relaxing. There were some hammocks and dining tables downstairs, or a small (shared) balcony on upper floor. Our tuk tuk driver at this hotel was superb. His name is Bakert. Make sure to ask for him to take you on the tours to Angkor. He drove us around for two days and was great.

My husband and I stayed at the Amansara just last weekend for a short staycay during the Covid-19 period (oh they take extra precautions at the property, taking temperatures of guests twice a day, offering masks and hand sanitizers at all times) when Siem Reap has hardly any tourists. It was our first Aman stay and WOW, we are now looking forward to checking out their other properties worldwide. A masterpiece of Khmer architecture, I fell in love with the courtyards upon checking in, the tranquil environment in the heart of Siem Reap will bring your restful soul peace and serenity despite the hustle and bustle around. Sadly they were running on low occupancy (just 1 other guest during our stay) so we got upgraded to a pool suite and offered a super late check-out. The spa was closed but we utilised the gym a couple of times, I must say it's well equipped, and one of the best gyms I've ever been to with state of the art machines. Food was AMAZING, go for their Khmer fare, it varies daily and never disappoints. I literally ate the same dishes everyday when I was there, Chef Daniel was superb, he took care of my food allergies & even shared the rice noodle and porridge recipes with us. For some meals we ordered room service and we were impressed with how the different courses were served just like in the restaurant, first they brought the appetizers, 15 mins later the main dishes came, lastly the dessert. I was picked up by an old school Mercedes Benz from the Sofitel where I was residing at prior, the ride was short but it added to the experience. The property actually offers a range of activities- they change it on a monthly basis depending on season and weather, unfortunately most were suspended during our stay due to Covid so we only managed a short tour of Angkor Wat and some of the surrounding temples, which was good enough for us. The most memorable was how they managed to take my spectacles to an optician to get it fixed over an hour and the effort made by Bunsak, their front desk manager who managed to find us a driver at the very last minute when we departed as our personal driver backed out. These little touches added to our Aman experience, yes it comes with a price but it's definitely worth it for the impeccable service rendered by each and everyone at the Amansara. I miss my home already, thank you Astrid, Daniel, Bunsak, Lohn, Bunheouom, Rata, Sokhy, and Sri Aun for your hospitality and care. Hope our paths will cross again soon! Best wishes, Bong Alison & Bong Steven from Suite 14 (27-29 March)

We had stayed with this house during our holiday, we had booked 3 nights through online and the owner of this house email said offer free pick up. He said a tuk tuk driver to pick us up at airport and when we arrival house his wife bring some welcome drink very nice and cold drink. After we talked about the tour and he arranged for us 2 days tour at the temples. That's very kind and very helpful. The room was great and large bed and large balcony and cold water and hot water provide. The location is good short walk to the town and restaurant nearby and coffee shop and laundry available in front road. On the departure he arrange a good driver drop off at the airport before we arrival the airport the driver suggestion to see war museum and after we leaving Cambodia with unforgettable.

We had been staying at small hotels and decided it to try something a bit larger for our trip to Siem Reap. I expected the hotel to be a lot larger based on the photos but I would describe it as a medium size hotel. We booked a Superior Room. Our room overlooked the interior courtyard and was quite clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was quite varied so that just about everyone can find something to eat. We did use the pool and the fitness room. Unfortunately the fitness room did not have a fitness bench although it had dumbbells and it also had cardio equipment. Although about a mile out of town, we were able to find nice places to eat in the vicinity. We enjoyed a delicous casual meal in a family owned outdoor restaurant to your left across the street from the hotel. There is also a nice restaurant called Changkran Khmer hidden away near the restaurant. The hotel staff was quite helpful in answering our questions. During our stay, there were several middle aged British and American tour groups. So the one drawback is that there is not much poolside seating and it would get very crowded in the afternoon.

I came to Siem Reap to visit the Angkor Empire temples for 2 weeks by myself. I am so blessed that I found this hotel as my HOME there. The manager Jenny arranged an experience that I would precious for the rest of my life. The temples in Siem Reap had been on my bucket list for some years and I really don't want to go with a travel group. I did a lot of research before I go. But when I arrived, there's always something I missed. Thanks to the hotel manager, not only she made my stay in the hotel comfortable to my daily life, but also warm my heart as I have a family in the city. I picked the hotel because it's close to the Angkor National Museum, which I visited the first day by walking. The second day, I rented a bike to visit the Bakeng temple and Beyang templs. Start from the third day I visited further away distance temples from the hotel by Tuk-Tuk. Bad thing is that once you have a Tuk-Tuk, you probably won't go back to biking....:) I left Angkor Wat to the end since I think that is the highlight of all the temples. Each room in the hotel as I know of has a balcony, which really made it feel broad and open. The swimming pool is right below the balcony so you can hear the water flow and see the water which gave me peaceful mind. The breakfast is included and even though I stayed for 2 weeks, the varieties still greet me with pleasure everyday. (noodle soup, fried noodles, fried rice are on the menu for breakfast too besides the western food) Most of all, the staff in the hotel really made me feel like family, they are prompt and taking very good care of me. (sometimes I need to use google translate though) I had a very plenitude and happy stay at the hotel and felt hard to leave the people in the hotel. Angkor temples are surreal and unbelievable that you have to see with your own eyes. Cambodia is a beautiful and abundant country with straightforward and kind-hearted peopel that you have to really talk to them to find out. I would like to share the great experience with whoever thinking about going there. You can send me any questions regarding the hotel and the trip there. I will answer them to the best of my knowledge.

It’s about half an hour from the airport, and the location is not bad. There are many leisure tug drivers nearby, so travel is fairly convenient. At this price, the room size and supporting facilities are really cost-effective. Before I arrived, I communicated with the hotel about pick-up issues and the service was quite good. The hotel also has a swimming pool with a quiet environment and a little distance from the main snack street, but it is also good. The food in the hotel is also good, especially the milkshakes, which are very good. The only fly in the ointment is that the hot water supply is not very good, but I also asked the more expensive travel friends nearby that there was also a problem with the hot water supply in their hotel. After communicating with the boss, I also helped solve it in time, which is still a very good shop.

Cyclo d'Angkor Boutique Hotel is delightful. It is neatly tucked away aside Vithei Charles de Gaulle and perfectly located between Angkor Wat and downtown Siem Reap. My family and I found the hotel lobby breathtaking; tropical and filled with traditional Cambodian artwork. We were greeted with hot towels and refreshments and guided to our rooms after a brief introduction. We booked a family suite as we had two adults and a 17 year old. Our accommodations were perfect. The room was large with plenty of room, two beds and a separate sitting area. The room was very well maintained and clean. We took long swims in each of the pools. One pool is located directly off of the lobby and the other on the rooftop. We enjoyed happy hour and a phenomenal breakfast. But I cannot say enough about the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, every single person on staff provided 5 star, white glove customer service. We will be back!

I had a great experience at J7 Hotel. It was close to Pub Street and there was always a tuk tuk waiting for you. Even though room service was awesome, the local food is way cheaper and just as excellent! There’s a mall across the street. However the best places to eat are in town.

I would recommend to pay a little bit more and go to another hotel in same road. We took it as we prefer familiar guest house than big resorts. The family is adorable, very friendly and the owner speaks good english and brough us from the airport on arrival for free which is very welcoming when you land in Siem Rep fir the first time. The breakfast is complete and with choise, the lady is very nice. Pros: the location is good to go walking to the night market and restaurants/club area. Cons: too hot!! Even paying the 7$ dollar extra for activating air co, you could difficultly stay in the room. Even the cold water in the bathroom was hot. With some quick arrangements it would be a very good place to stay at Siem Rep for good price

This is a lovely hotel at the high end of quality. We were welcomed by Mean who did a great job introducing us to the hotel and keeping in touch with us via WhatsApp during our 3 days here. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We had a lovely spacious clean suite and a huge bed so felt comfortable and slept well. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with items ordered off a menu with the staff very attentive although the language barrier meant we had a couple of misunderstandings and ordered two of some items. There were a couple of things which mean we can't give a 5 star. Our freezer compartment in the fridge was overfrozen and started dripping into the fridge. Reporting it took a few minutes to explain and when we got back we found that they had fixed the freezer compartment and our safe box (which did not have a problem) Anyway the freezer wasn't fixed so we had to leave towels around the base of the fridge on the day we left. We also had a mouse in our room. Probably not uncommon in Cambodia but we reported that too on our 2nd day and they said they would try to catch it. The mouse had been at some biscuits in a an open partly emptied suitcase. The off putting point is that when we arrived at our next destination we found mouse droppings in both cases even though the 2nd case had no food in it and was stored in a different part of the room. Basically more vermin control is needed. It a shame really because apart from those 2 things all else was excellent.

Excellent location in terms of being not too close to the madness and noise of Pub Street. The toilets and showers are modern and clean, as is the dormitory. The staff, and even the foreign manager, were uber kind and helpful and the facilities and pool and food and beverage options are superb. I liked this place so much that I extended an additional evening and later also made a booking for the location in Bangkok for when I will visit there in a few weeks.

A perfect check-in experience. After entering the door, the service was very intimate. On a sweltering day, I immediately handed in a glass of iced drink. It tasted good with a touch of lemongrass. The entire check-in does not need to be handled by yourself. You can wait for your passport. On the day of check-in, a little brother from Xi'an was on duty to help with the check-in process. I also recommended a good restaurant nearby. Later, I also helped solve the wifi problem. I forgot to ask the name, but thank you very much. English, my little brother who speaks fluent Chinese is so warm. The hotel environment is very good, the garden design is very beautiful, super suitable for taking pictures, the design of many details of the corridor is great, and you can feel full of intentions everywhere. Thank you very much for the small gift from the hotel on the day of your stay. The baby elephant doll for the baby liked it very much, and hugged it all the way back to Beijing. Thank you very much for the fruit greetings from the hotel. The service staff will fold the clothes, and the charging cables scattered on the table will be tied and tied, which is super intimate. Breakfast is also very rich, there are many choices, and local Khmer specials can also be tasted. Finally, it is suggested that I hope that the hot and cold water signs can be affixed to the faucets in the bathroom to avoid wasting water due to different usage habits. When leaving, many hotel staff sent off at the door, said goodbye with a smile, thank all the hotel staff for bringing home-like service, and feel at home. Next time you have the opportunity to go to Siem Reap, you will choose to stay a few more days and feel the intimateness of the hotel again service!

Room was clean and had what you needed, housekeeping thou needs to do their jobs more properly cos they didn't clean my room on my last night. so had no shampoo bath gel etc. Breakfstcis great it had all the necessities you expect from 5 star hotels but reality it feels more 4 star. Half the Gym equipment don't work well or are bad. Jacuzzi was never on and Sauna rooms are undergoing renovation. Pool Bar never ever saw and attendant there. Now I see aThes to why it's so affordable, but the room itself and breakfast are well worth the price it's just management needs to be doing their jobs promptly. Room service is cheap so big ups there.

Dear Team, I had a very good weekend escape at your hotel with a great environment, friendly staff as well as delicious food. I would like to give a big applause to your team that try their ever best to serve every single customer here. They care what We need, they care our feeling and most important is, they are all serving us whole-heartedly. Appreciate it! We had a misunderstanding about our order during lunch but surprisingly all staff in the hotel known about it and at the end we received a champagne as a compliment. We never imagine a hotel (a team) take it serious on this kind of matter but we appreciate the team work you all have and we believe your hotel and your team will be the top of the country even the world. I have been staying at Park Hyatt Siem Reap last time but their service is not as good as yours! I would like to say a thank you for granting me an early check-in and late check-out so we could have a very pleasant stay and relaxed vacation. Thank you very much for granting me another 75 mins massage that I couldn’t expected as well. I will share this wonderful customer journey with my friends and families and recommend Memoire Palace Resort & Spa for their accommodation. Keep it out and see you next time! We stayed here for 6 nights. 1 night in a twin by the pool and 5 nights in a double (king?), upstairs overlooking the pool. All rooms face the pool but it is quiet. Rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. The pool was a pleasant temperature and there were enough loungers for you to relax on. There are jacuzzi jets in one section that the staff will turn on for you if you ask or if they see you going in (they became familiar with me). All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was my birthday the last day we were there and they decorated my room, brought me a delicious cake, and sang to me. It was beyond my expectations and I didn't recall mentioning my birthday so they must have noticed on my passport. The only one downfall was the restaurant prices seemed a bit high, but there is so much to try around Siem Reap, it wasn't an issue anyway.
