Hotel owners trained in USA and speak fluent English. Unusual for a traditional German hotel, clean rooms are air-conditioned and accessible by elevator. Comfortable beds made for a great night's sleep. Wonderful breakfast included in price. Bar offers great food and astounding variety of spirits and cocktails. Car aficionados: take note of hood ornaments displayed in typically ”gemütlich” restaurant Stube. Wish we could have stayed for more than one night. Highly recommended!

Bathroom comes with the regular amenities and even more (earplugs for example). Breakfast is in point, great choice of sweet and savory. Bar serves great cocktails and the atmosphere feels pretty cozy!

However, there is a tram station in front of the hotel. 2. Check-in & Check-out Since we arrived at around 8pm, the check-in was completed within 5 minutes. We just passed the keys at the reception during check-out. 3. Parking There is a paid-parking at the hotel. However, there are a few free parking spots in front of the hotel. Since it was full in front of the hotel, I parked in front of the B&B Hotel which is 10 minutes walking distance and it is free too. 4. Room The room is clean. Surprisingly, the room is air-conditioned. We did not expect this but it is really helpful during summer time now. 5. WiFi There is a free WiFi. However, the signal is not so strong at certain area of the room. 6. Foods There is an American foods restaurant in front of the hotel.

|0.91km from city centerThe hotel was a pleasant surprise in Heidelberg city, and I stayed only one night, but I would certainly stay more, because I was very well installed. The hotel is located in a building that worked in an old tobacco factory, and is completely renovated for the hotel's facilities, with large suites or lofts, very well decorated. They have washing machine, fully equipped kitchen with modern tools. Wi-Fi quickly. Floor with heating and large bathroom. Parking on the site, but are few vacuums. When I booked, I asked for a parking vague and I had no problems. The service was very good from who received us. There is no reception. When I arrived at the establishment, at the main door, there is an interphone. The guest attendant arrived in a few minutes and passed all the instructions needed. It is in a quiet and quiet neighborhood. It is not so close to the historic center, about 2.5 km. Better go by car and park in the various parking lots near the main attractions.

|3.15km from city centerWe had a very hearty reception, the rooms are very comfortable furnished and you feel at home immediately. Cleanliness tiptop. We were there between the years and the small indoor courtyard was beautifully decorated. The location is absolutely central and directly on the old bridge. The public parking house, located below the castle (for guests there is a discount), is well reached by a short walk through the city. Overall, everything is well thought, the staff were all friendly and well laid. The connected restaurant is also very recommendable (sweet food, good service). Unfortunately we were only for one night there would come back at any time.

We love all things in the room. all well. room with balcony, aircond, smart home functions, big flat tv with nexflix, coffee machine, kitchen & utensils. its complete like a studio house. The receptionist also so friendly. there is mistakes from Trip.Com state check out time at 12 but actually is at 11. then we not ready because we think the time was at 12. then they came & gave us time to check out. all so good for sure we will come again to this hotel.

Going to the castle, the old bridge, and the old town are all walking up. The hotel staff is very nice, every time you say hello is a warm, warm smile, it makes people feel very comfortable! They were extremely helpful, and always nice - you would never see them without a genuine smile on their face. We stayed for almost 2 months, and we were always made to feel like the hotel was our second home. The rooms were also modern, newly renovated, comfortable, and very clean. The location was super - close to many great restaurants, close to the old own, and for nature lovers, just a minute away from the philosopher's walk in the surrounding mountains. I would highly highly recommend this hotel for their great location, superb rooms, and most of all, the incredible hospitality.

|3.19km from city centerI think this is a Hotel that could be easily overlooked. It is on top of a parking garage. But once you take the elevator to the hotel it looks nothing like the dingy and grimy outside of the parking garage. It is most welcoming decorated. The hotel staff was very friendly and english is no problem (I wouldn't be surprised that even other languages are spoken by the staff). Our room was very clean and had a great view of the castle and some of the historic buildings surrounding the hotel. The breakfast had a great selection of German cold cuts, fruit, cheese and many other things. The close proximity to the middle of town and to the Funicular to the castle (and the Christmas markets) makes this a great pick. I will makes this my hotel of choice when I return to Heidelberg.

|1.03km from city centerNice, small, simple hotel with very clean and spacious rooms. The reception is occupied from 15 - 19 a.m. with a very nice and extremely helpful young lady. Outside these times, contact with the staff is made by phone, but we didn't have to use it, because everything was in good condition. In addition, there are also contactless possibilities for check-in and check-out (e.g. electronic check-in terminal). We had booked two rooms (double and three-bed rooms). The very spacious double room was marked with very interesting ”Winter garden”-flair through a series of roof windows was equipped with a small kitchen, but we did not try it except for the coffee machine. Unfortunately, it was a little cold in the room as the heating did not entirely warm the whole volume. In the three-bed room our children had been in the room. Also here there was enough room and a coffee machine. The hotel is located near a train station. From there you are in a few stations at the Bismarck Square and can actually discover all Heidelberg conveniently. For cars the city is rather nothing. Also around the hotel are parking defects. The accommodation has just two guest parking places, each for €14 per day. According to the reception, a temporary parking card would also be for the respective city area for €10 per day available. That's why we didn't care. In the immediate vicinity there is a pizzeria ”Da Baggio” that looks very comfortable but probably is also well frequented. In any case, there was no place for us spontaneously. A few meters away, but still walking well to reach, the pizzeria is ”Da Vinci”. Prices are high, but the food is very delicious. For saving guests there is also a bridge service nearby.

The breakfast is OK and enough variety. We booked a second night, the staff is very nice and helpful. There is a tram nearby to get into town. We walked wich was a nice walk but far - therefor the old town is spread out a long woy. We took a ”lime scooter” back to the hotel - wich was fun - there a plenty room on the bikepathes. The hotel is nice and quited and the beds where good there I would recommend it. There is 24 hours check-in available.

This hotel has it, all personal where wearing masks and everyone is responsible. Very professional and friendly hotel personnel, I had a shower head problem and Hotel tech arrived in a min, replace it in the blink of an eye. I felt welcome safe and take good care of. Because I have a lot of luggage on hand, the front desk of the hotel gave me a room on the first floor to check in immediately. I can also wait for the room on the upper floor at 15:00. I prefer this arrangement, not every time. Bad room for China discount. Many choices are very magnanimous to treat each guest. Everyone at the front desk was so welcoming and the lady who received me was patient with everything I had. It's just that this room is a bit small, the room for two is only suitable for one person, I happen to be alone hehe😁

Around the corner is a supermarket and a bakkery. The latter is also opened on Sunday, on time for breakfast. A little tip though: the adress is actually Im Entenlach 33 (Kranichweg is the adress of the hotel, not the appartments). Our navigation didnt work well but Google maps came to our rescue

A hotel, a small room with a double bed, 40 cm left to windows & heaters and 40 cm right to the wall and a large bathroom, heavenly roll-friendly. Even if with the toilet roller inaccessible in the back but otherwise good. How to get to bed with the wheelchair? Find another hotel at 20:00 Sunday? The anger was buffled by a student's over-required late service, who then called the boss to ask the advice, simply push the beds out, exchange the big lake for 2x new. We then received beds. In the night I need support when moving, a double bed therefore actually no alternative. In fact, then 4 hours sleep with the nose on the heat body. The negative feedback the next morning irritated; the beds could be stripped out without problems. They would always be done like that. And the bathroom is so large and really great accessible. Just with the note that you should in any case look at the rooms before, whether the room is suitable. If the recommender knows the room? But yes and problems would never have been there. Even e-Rollis would be suitable. You just push the beds out without problems. And the bathroom is so large and really great accessible. Since then I have been thinking about where the problem is to solve the problem without problem in an desirable way before the guests arrive and the problem? If I wanted to go from Bonn to shower to Heidelberg, the Neuheidelberg Wohlfühlhotel would be my first address. And for breakfast, the buffet does not leave any wishes open. Or was it on me because too tired, too uncreative, too unflexible 😉 ?

|1.81km from city centerThis hotel is in an historic building. The ceilings are high and our room was a deluxe double and very spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of foods--from fresh baked bread, to make your own waffles, to cheeses, eggs and other foods. The staff at the buffet was very helpful and lovely. The hotel is well located just a few blocks from the Alstadt (old city) and it was easy to walk everywhere from there. It's also right next to the bus/tram station. However, a few things you need to know before you book this hotel. 1) The reception desk is only staffed until early evening. 2) Housekeeping is sporadic. We were there for 6 nights and the room was only cleaned once. 3) There is no air conditioning. We had a fan in the room and opened the windows and it was bearable at night, but not super cool. On a very hot day or night this could really be an issue. 4) With the windows open, it is really noisy, particularly because the bus and tram station is right across the street. 5) There is no shampoo or conditioner provided--only hand soap at the sink and body soap in the shower. However, there's a drug store across the street where you can get what you need. 6) There are small sets of stairs that you may have to go up and down on the floor where the rooms are. If you have mobility issues, try to ask about this when you book so that you get a room where this won't be an issue. We had a very nice stay, but those are things I would have liked to know before I booked, so I thought I'd include them in a review.

|2.35km from city centerDue to several business dates in Heidelberg, I booked my room at the family-run Hotel Rose. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the old town of Heidelberg. However, it is very well accessible with public transport from the main train station. The train is almost walking out of the door. The rooms are convenient and very clean. I even had a small balcony at the room. If you want to make something to eat yourself, there is even a kitchen for the guests. Parking are directly at the hotel. Breakfast was very good and the chef makes egg food fresh. The next time I will stay there again.

Check-in itself was unfortunately rather sobering due to the change in staff. Also, immediately after check-in, a pushy bartender who wanted to mix cocktails for me. Unfortunately, that didn't go away when I went out to smoke and had to go through the ”lobby”. Hotel room unfortunately the stockiest of all, despite the most expensive costs on my trip. Huge TV, nice bed, great duvet, air conditioning, design equipment... but unfortunately completely impractical, so that there was not only space to unpack my suitcase and cosmetics in the bathroom. No, unfortunately the desk was so close to the bed that there were bruises when walking around. Big plus seen too late though. Kettle with instant coffee, milk and sugar/tea was available in the room.

The hotel restaurant has a great buffet breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and sampling of the brewery’s selection of beer. It was perfectly placed to explore the university area, the castle and all of the old town area. We would highly recommend it!
