Beautiful old style Hotel, large rooms and an entrance from an elegant age, simply beautiful. Real class, only had the one night, but in Cardiff and I will stay again. Staff were friendly and helpful 🙂

The curtains are mouldy. The rooms are not small but the facilities are old. I'm really sorry for the price. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are average. It's no different from a chain hotel, but it's a lot more expensive.

TV didnt work properly, single glazed rooms very cold in recent cold snap. Reported TV issue to no reception; no action taken by property.

Hotel is centrally located staff are friendly and helpful we had a suite which was lovely good choice for breakfast hotel is a little dated but is full of character 3rd time to stay and we will be back

Lovely cheap stay at a lovely hotel. Clean room and lovely facilities. Slightly old rooms need modernising but otherwise no faults! Staff were very friendly and welcoming!

Was central to everything only down side for a large hotel only one lift working and only fit 4 in a lift otherwise all good

Lovely old hotel right across from Cardiff Castle. Great location - close to restaurants and night life. Rooms were a bit basic but well equipped and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Excellent city centre location with parking means it's easy to be close to the castle, the shops and the restaurants. The hotel has an old world charm which gives it such character. the staff were all delightful
