Areni House B&B

I could not have wished for a better place to stay. I initially booked for two nights, I ended up staying for 7!!! If you are looking for a B&B close to Areni center but also calm and quiet, don’t look any further! It is few meters away from the main grocerie stores, and if you arrive by marshrutka, they will drop you right at the roud about, few hundreds meters away. Actually Agasi came to pick me up with the van. Bella and Agasi are the ideal hosts, very welcoming, both taking care of your needs and very respectful of your personal space and privacy. I was invited to try their excellent home made wines and honey. You can ask for the special room, in the tree house, which will transport you to a fairy tale atmosphere! If you want to enjoy the most of a relaxing morning, have your breakfast in the garden. You will taste the local cheese and bread, as well as an assortiment of sweet spreads. Bella bakes herself the cakes and the eggs are perfectly cooked! In April, the nights might still be chilly in Armenia but The temperature in my room was very comfortable and the water runs hot ! If I had to summarise my stay in one word: addictive!
