EconoLodge Laurel

So I booked this through Priceline as we knew we needed a stopping point from Texas to Tennessee. The day of check in I checked reviews and got really nervous about the stay on a non refundable booking. But to my surprise I was pleased with the room itself. We stayed in #108 first floor. It was clean and no smell. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable But other than that it was good. I didn’t get a pic of the bathroom but it was a brand new walk in glass shower. Very clean. The ONLY Reservation I had was I didn’t sleep well due to feeling on high alert with people outside. The people above us were moving around till midnight. Then around 2am there must have been someone checking in because it was people rolling suitcases right in front of our room back and forth and talking loud like they were lost. It’s always this way when I book a motel with doors to the outside. It’s in the same parking lot as best western and right off 59 which made it convenient.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are a bit dated but not terrible. The location and the staff are what make this place shine! Dee was friendly and helpful. She answered all our questions about where to go and especially places to eat. She really made our stay great. Brittany was very helpful at checkout. The location is great for seeing the town of Laurel. We drove from the hotel into town and easily found parking that allowed us to walk and sight see downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

We brought our teenage granddaughter to experience this quaint town. The hotel was nice. Service desk very friendly. We had a spacious room with 2 beds and a couch. Level one had coffee and decaf around the clock. Hotel is very close to everything. I would stay here again.
