The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah Uae

The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah Uae

Sharjah City Center Sharjah|4.02km from city center
This hotel is a true hidden gem minutes away from busy Dubai. At first you may wonder why to go to Sharjah, but the Chedi Al Bait is a destination on its own. The minute you walk in, you are being greeted by “Welcome home”, the English translation of “Al Bait”. It’s true the place felt like home as if I had arrived in my family after a long journey in the hot weather of the arabian peninsula. Here I found a calm, authentic, extremely beautiful & well kept property to rest and enjoy days of pure luxury. Because of the hot June weather I was lucky enough to be one of the few guests at the hotel. I felt like a true Sultan wandering around the maze of my property and there was not a minute I was not being pampered by the whole team. During the day, the walls of the property have a contemporary desert feeling. At night the lighting made it looked like the Palace of the Arabian Nights. I enjoyed the fact that all the doors of the property were left open for you to explore and decide to sit to contemplate or simply relax. Their library/museum was a nice surprise worth a quick tour! The suite I stayed for 3 nights was just perfect. Plenty of space, huge bath room with 5 star amenities. I loved the Acqua di Parma toiletries!! The huge bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I stayed in their “deluxe” rooms which for me felt super luxury. I can’t imagine how their higher category suites could even be better than what I had. Meals, breakfasts, drinks at their cafe were all of good quality. I highly recommend their Afternoon Tea Time which is a show on its own with all that nitrogen gas. Gym, Sauna and Steam room were all of the best quality! In short, I had at the Chedi the best time in the UAE and I could not recommend it enough to anyone who is appreciative of quality, discreet luxury and comfort! Special mention and warm thank you to the Team at the reception but also Sam at the Pool who was the kindest host ever. I was taken care like a real sheikh with always a glass of cold water, my sun bed prepared like I loved and always a few words and a smile to make my stay memorable. I don’t want to leave but I am certain I will visit again. ;) Thank you the Chedi Team 🙌🏼

72 Hotel Sharjah

Sharjah City Center Sharjah|3.53km from city center
More like a 4 star B hotel but at least better than Ibis Sharjah Liked · 1. True non-smoking room not non-smoking only in name as at Ibis Sharjah 2. Excellent refrigerator with working freezer. 3. Excellent aircon with temperature control. 4. Spacious room and large modern bathroom. 5. Mattress is comfy. 6 Good blackout curtains. Disliked · 1. Drain in sink clogged 2. Hair drier not working 3. Annoying buzzing sound (emitted by refrigerator?) impeding continuous restful sleep 4. Clock set incorrectly indicating 40 minutes fast 5. Terrible corrugated floors uncomfortable to walk on with bare feet or with socks 6. Very few spare outlets to use or inconveniently located negating their utility 7. Quirky, unergonomic lighting i.e. insufficient lighting for reading in bed; floor lamp located in useless place 8. Bed needs an extra, thin sheet (brought my own fortunately) and is not long enough for tall people Cleaners start vacuuming around the doors of the room by 10AM so if you are not sleepless from the noise in the room, then you will get woken up by the cleaners mid-morning. I used this hotel as I had a 17 hour layover in Sharjah. It is located in the neighborhood Majaz-1. On the way from Sharjah airport on a Saturday evening it was slow going by taxi (30-40 minutes) at a cost of 55 dirhams but Sunday morning just 10-15 minutes at a cost of 36 dirhams. This was an alternative for me to staying at the overpriced Sharjah Airport hotel on Dhaid Road ”Centro” (in which there are no eating options outside this Centro Hotel). However, near Hotel 72 turning right at the main entrance staying on the main street there is a good Arabic restaurant within perhaps 250 meters from the hotel called Madfoon Al-Khaimah. That is why I rated location as very good in terms of utility of Hotel 72 as a transit hotel. Charged $79 for one night. If you add in an additional $27 for taxis from/to the Airport, the savings from staying is very small to nil but at least you can have a good meal at an affordable price near Hotel 72 at Madfoon Al-Khaimah. I would not rate this hotel highly but standards are low throughout Sharjah so, in comparison with other Sharjah options, it is not a bad choice. Certainly better than the last time I transited in Sharjah and stayed one night in Ibis Sharjah, which, even at half the price of Hotel 72, is an inferior choice by far. If memory serves, by the way, I stayed in room 607 down the corridor on the 6th floor last door on the left.

Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization

Al Hamra Hotel

Al Hamra Hotel

Sharjah City Center Sharjah|0.3km from Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization
Rest at the Al Hamra Hotel from 8 to 14 March 2020. Residents without deposit and money extortion, all honestly, politely Say that we enjoyed living in this hotel - not to say anything. Hotel without deposit, settled us in five minutes, gave a great 710 room. Staff is beautiful, no hint of hammock, always help, tell, show. Cleaning every day. Every day, they gave an individual set: shampoo, hygiene packets, shower gel, hairdress, toothbrush, toothpaste, vattock and discs, shower hat, toilet paper and loose. Every day they left two bottles of water for 0.5 litres. There was a sewing set in the room, a spoon for shoes, a sponge for the cleaning of shoes. Everything is chic. If you get mad - I will say that the safe didn't work. No one on the bags crawled, didn't try to extort the tips (though the maids deserve them, of course). The door opens at the hotel entrance. A little, but pleasant) Very beautiful lobby, pleasant smell, cleanliness and beauty. Thank you to all the staff! Thank you very much to the maid, the girls working on the resepna and the girl, as well as all the staff of the restaurant! Free dinner exchange for lunch We had NV food - breakfast and dinners that we changed easily depending on the time of the tour. Very convenient schedule. They are young, make breakfast time, dinnings and dinners so that we can eat absolutely everything. Breakfast - 7-11 morning, lunch - 13-16, dinner - 19-23:00 (all five hours!!!!) Thanks to such a convenient schedule we never missed dinner even from the longest tours. Nowhere else did they eat if the tours were free, they paid 60 dirhams for two and had dinner at the hotel restaurant. People from other hotels skipped their dinners and remained hungry, and here everything was done for the convenience of guests. On the food of a separate song, hungry to remain impossible to claim only that all my diet was covered with a copper pelvis) to lose weight will not be possible, because everything is madly tasty, and I want to try all a little. There are about forty dishes: sauces, fish, seafood (calmares, shrimps), meat (always had meat), salads of various kinds, champagne, two kinds of juice, tea, coffee, two kinds of corn flakes. Very many Arabic traditional sweets. Very many fruits: mango, carrots, peanuts, pineapples, kiwi, oranges, grapes, all not listed. Everything is absolutely fresh. The choice is huge, nothing fresh, dishes are not repeated. There is an opportunity to order dishes from the restaurant at night, prices are acceptable. A successful location During the rest I have not seen any dissatisfied holidaymaker, in the hotel really everything is magnificent. Near the Museum of Islamic civilization, the shops of the day where you can buy any goods up to 200 rubles for our money. The location is just excellent. Sharja is a religious emirate, in which 600 mosques (every 100 meters). So the mule calls Muslims to pray at 5 a.m., and this is certainly heard from the room. So all

It so happened that we came across a burning tour at a ridiculous price, and in two days of preparations we arrived in Sharjah. By the way, we were already in the UAE in 2017, having visited all the popular excursions, and this time I was hoping for a beach holiday. Given the circumstances, in a pandemic, I thought that I would cook the lion's share myself in the kitchenette, which, as far as I understand, all rooms are equipped with. My tour operator confirmed that she herself had rested here earlier and she had at her disposal a kitchen and two frying pans, and one saucepan. But it wasn't there. When I checked in, to my amazement, I was given a room with broken kitchen furniture, no stove, no refrigerator, no sink in the kitchen. Of course, they began to offer to pay extra 700 bucks for a two-room family apartment, they say there is a kitchen and even a table with chairs, just like in the picture from the site. I had to demonstrate my character (and I have a heavy patamu shta gold), after calls and showdowns with the representative of Anekstur, with grief in half, we were given a decent room, with a mini fridge, a sink but without a tile, but in fairness I note that there was a microwave and a kettle . At my disposal were two flat plates, forks, spoons, mugs. I immediately got dishes in the nearest supermarket, a knife, a glass pan and a couple of bowls and mastered cooking in the microwave with the help of Google)) We bought fresh vegetables and fruits, made salads, cooked rice and pasta as a side dish. They took chicken and other things ready-made in the supermarket, there is a department, by the way, the meat is cooked very sharply, when consumed, it seems that armagidon has come, and what to do with the know-spice question, they shake their heads negatively, do not put their teeth on the shelf. Anyway, those who took the tour with food complained about the monotony of the menu. You decide. Here it is customary for guests to give out only two large towels, although the hotel positions itself as a four-star hotel. At first, I thought that the staff was sharpening a tooth on me, for that scandal during check-in, but then it turned out that other tourists also had this. And even then, after putting things in order, the maid takes them away. Returning from the beach, you need to catch the maid to beg for them. In general, the hotel is not bad, the room is spacious, though without a balcony, but it is equipped with three types of curtains, ranging from blockouts to model curtains, which makes it dark during the day as well as at night. And at night, at least gouge out your eyes. I think this is done to protect against heat and noise. With lighting here, sadness, if you like to have lamps and lights everywhere, then you are clearly not here. In general, the room is always very dark during the day and at night the same way, you can break all your legs, if you woke up in the middle of the night, then there is not a single lamp or sconce. The upper and only ceiling is turned on only near the entrance and shines dimly. Apparently with electricity there is control and accounting, all electrical equipment is connected directly without sockets. Do not rush to buy an exorbitant phone adapter, as the hotel guide advised us, the phone can, in principle, be charged from a hair dryer. But here is a chic bed, just huge, my husband is on

Very cost-effective, very satisfied with the service. The room has windows, is spacious, and has a high floor height, making it quite comfortable to live there. Turn right about 100 meters away from the hotel and you will find the red line subway station: Jadeda. It is 4 stops away from Hamad International Airport Terminal 1, which is very convenient.
