I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor would I ever stay there again myself. At the end of my stay, I was asked by one of the staff to share my WeChat information should I need them to help me arrange a future trip to Xi’an. Next day, I received a WeChat message imploring me to leave a five star review and a list of names I needed to mention (most of whom I did not recognize). This ruined the whole trip for me. I realized that the whole “nice” demeanor was wanting a good review and had nothing to do with the actual well being of the customer. I’m so sorry I shared my private WeChat with such an unscrupulous person. I have been loyal to the Shangri-La brand, but avoid this hotel. There is a clearly a pressure/work environment at this hotel no one needs or wants.
