Really difficult to find the site, dimly lit environment and very poorly indicated.
The reception is closed according to the season and you have to go look for the keys in a mailbox in the middle of the dark.

For the price you pay we would expect a little bit more service and overall quality. The rooms are very simple and things in kitchen not working properly. The area is very remote and facilities poor compared to all the other places we stayed at around lofoten.

They put us in the hotel because there was a mistake with our hostel booking. This meant we did not have access to much of the things we supposed to such as a kitchen and laundry as it said in the listing. They also claimed to have a shuttle you could book to the ferry and they did not. The staff was all very nice but overall what we paid for was not what we got.

Check in off season is all through a drop box. Did not see an actual person. Twin bed room was minimalistic and not super nice, but was comfortable. Shared bathrooms are actually quite nice. Nice well stocked kitchen. Good location in town

Salteriet is a Hostel. Stayed three nights, no cleaning or new towels. Some staff speak no Norwegian and little English.
Nice expencive restaurant open five days a week, not open for breakfast.
Some noise from fishingactivity during night.
Interesting beautiful place with lot of history.

I arrived late and found the key to my room. I was pleasantly surprised in the big and modern room. It is should a lovely place and I will come again in summer time to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings.

Ci siamo trovate bene, è stato un soggiorno tranquillo, ma per il prezzo ci saremmo aspettate di più per quanto riguarda i servizi. Pulizia nella media, stanze non insonorizzate, cucina leggermente sporca (mentre i bagni erano molto puliti). Personale abbastanza cortese.
