Das Hotel und der Service haben uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Der Wellnessbereich war wunderschön, mit zwei großen Bädern, einer Biosauna und vielen Liegemöglichkeiten. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war lecker und das Abendessen war fantastisch.

Very disappointing. It all started upon our arrival, our luggage were standing in the hall (by the way no one cared about helping us with our 10 suitcases and two old ladies and my handicapped sister accompanying me) and one of the ladies of the staff (probably the manager) stumbled into one of our suitcases and complained about the fact that they were not supposed to be there, on her way… No apology, nothing. No comment! The room we had was old, the carpet was not clean, everything needs to be renovated. It is not a 4 star hotel; rather a 3 star. You go there for staying in the hot pool but they do not provide you with slippers (you have to pay for them) or towels (which you also need to pay for). They also make you wear a swimming cap in the pool and again they charge you for this. A disgrace. Swimming pool is nice though. We had some dinners at the hotel and the food was good but the service is rather poor.

We have been frequenting this hotel for several years, together with others in other spas. The thing we like most is that it is on a human scale and not the usual skyscraper often found in Abano. Good food and friendly and helpful staff, excellent and functional suite room.

I stayed in this hotel with my wife and two other couples of friends where we stayed for 4 nights between April 25th. The hotel is located in a very central area, a stone's throw from the pedestrian area. The rooms are sufficiently large and well furnished. The excellent breakfast but above all the lunch and dinner really satisfied us, with always different courses, with a wide choice, and worthy of a gourmet restaurant. Compliments to the chef. The thermal pools are excellently structured, in particular the indoor pool is large in size. The only note is that the cleanliness of the rooms deserves more attention.

We stayed for one night in this well-located hotel in the center of Abano Terme. Good, on the ground floor, the spa/wellness center with indoor and outdoor swimming pool of small dimensions but livable and usable until 11.00 pm. The hotel is heavily showing the signs of age both in the common areas and unfortunately in the rooms. We stayed on the first floor and the room, although large, was furnished with seventies furniture and with the only sign of modernity represented by the flat-screen TV and available wifi. The double bed had two mattresses attached, one soft and the other hard..! The small, blind bathroom with a toilet paper/towel holder that hinders movement on the WC/Bidet. The encrusted mini bar containing only 2 bottles of water (for a fee) A small terrace with a floor, chairs and table covered in dust and an iron barrier with peeling and rusty paint. The restaurant room is large, the food is plentiful but of medium-low quality. Friendly and helpful staff

We discovered the Hotel Universal in Abano Terme during COVID. We always appreciate this Hotel very much. Although the structure is dated, the family management is excellent in guaranteeing a very pleasant stay every time, continuously making improvements from year to year to guarantee an exclusive service to its loyal customers. A compliment must be paid first of all to the chefs of the restaurant for the excellent cuisine, extremely well prepared; to all the staff in the lounge and bar for their professionalism; at the reception for their extreme kindness and helpfulness; to the friendliness and welcome of the staff at the swimming pool; to the floor staff; and finally to the family who owns this hotel for their great skill and attention to the customer. I was with friends on Easter Monday 2024 in the swimming pool... very welcoming and new spa area, one outdoor and one indoor swimming pools guarantee maximum relaxation. Prepared and welcoming reception staff, especially Stefano who welcomed us and made us feel at home. We will definitely return

After a couple of years, I am preparing to spend a long weekend with my wife at the Universal Terme in Abano. We had really good memories of this facility but on this last occasion we were even better. Spacious room, impeccable cleanliness and staff all in keeping with the hotel's stars. A menu that is always varied and of excellent quality. Particular praise goes to the dining room operator Sofia, always politely present, never intrusive and super prepared in the preparation of the dishes proposed by the chef, congratulations

I stayed with my parents for the first time in this property and I must say that it was a pleasant surprise. The hotel, although a little dated, has been renovated in the rooms which appear welcoming and very spacious and well equipped. I was given a room without a bidet, which is essential for us Italians, but it wasn't a problem. My parents were promptly replaced with great kindness and professionalism. I believe that the strong points are precisely the great kindness, professionalism and availability of all the staff, from the reception (very distinguished) to the bar (very nice) to the restaurant. In this regard it is right to praise both the chef and the kitchen team and the waiters, the food is really excellent, very well cared for, gourmet cuisine, abundant dishes, lots of choice at the buffet always full of everything including desserts. I really appreciated the spa area, very large, well looked after. Excellent masseuses and mud baths, both the indoor and outdoor pools are truly excellent, always open until late and with poolside bar service; really relaxing at the top! The structure has an excellent location, right in the center a few meters from the main street and outside the restricted traffic area. The only flaw I would like to point out was the presence of many dogs of all kinds and sizes in the facility. Even though I'm a dog lover, I didn't appreciate their presence. I had one in front of my room and for every person who passed in the corridor he barked at any time of day or night and another dog in another room echoed him; result sleep always disturbed by barking. I suggest allocating a wing of the hotel to those who have dogs with them so that people who come to relax can really do so. As a final suggestion I would say to play some relaxation music during the mud bath and add an emotional shower. I will definitely go back.

When we arrived the room wasn't ready, we had to wait almost an hour. The very simple room not adequate for a 4 star. The indoor swimming pool is large and well equipped, the outdoor one has only 4 hydro stations and a somewhat sparse fountain. Very good breakfast, rich and varied, both sweet and savory. We had a massage and a facial, the spa staff was competent and met expectations. Overall we had a good time but I consider it more of a 3 star. The massage was supposed to be a surprise for the husband's birthday, even though I had recommended it, they contacted him to move the time, ruining the surprise....

Exceptional hospitality, a welcome similar to a family environment but of great class given above all by staff like Stefano who welcomed and pampered us in the best possible way. Great choice as they inform you about what to do in the area and very honest and prepared. For the most demanding customers, the spa recommended by the staff is very clean and well equipped. In conclusion, excellent for romantic or group weekends and a special thanks to Stefano of the staff, we will absolutely return...
