The Craibstone Suites

Cleanliness: Many guests highlight the cleanliness of the suites, describing them as spotless and well-maintained. The rooms are often praised for their fresh decor and being free of dust and smears, contributing to a comfortable stay.

Check in was not listed as being 3-6. A code was sent but I had no internet service. Im handicap. They didn't let on there was no elevator. The shower is contained in a tub with no bars to grab on to. I tried to cancel 48 hours in advance when after paying I found out about the check in but it's 45 hours before and they refused. I went. The physical room was nice enough. But getting up 3 flights to the floor with bags was a nightmare. I wrote asking to check in early because I was on tour. They refused unless I paid money and there is no bag storage. I never complain but I felt I'd never have picked them had I known the check in conditions with no people even there when I rushed to get there. There is a warning not to bother them unless its a TRUE emergency. If you have questions about the neighborhood or tours you are on your own. There is no restaurant but the room had a kettle and m microwave. Definitely not handicap accessible. I was okay with the suite that gets cleaned but I saw a hair in the bathtub. Anyway I cannot recommend it

The room we stayed in was clean and although very small for a suite was Ok for a short stay Kitchen was basic and Ok for a couple of nights, however I like to cook but there wasn't enough basic utensils if you wanted to cook, no mugs just 2 small coffee cups, no jug for mixing,and 2 tiny bowls which weren't big enough for soup or cereal and one pyrex dish and no coffee machine. There were 4 tea bags and 4 instant coffee sachets but no milk, salt and pepper, or anything else which you would normally find in a suite with cooking facilities. As we were only staying 2 nights the lack of utensils wasn't a big problem but still annoying The shower and bath were good and the bed and pillows comfortable. Our biggest problem was that it was very cold outside and on entering the room it was absolutely freezing, there was one small radiator in the living area and a bigger one in the kitchen area both these had been turned off completely and the towel rail in bathroom the same. When the heating was turned on the larger radiator in kitchen was obviously needing bled as it was only warm at the bottom and full of air at top I reported this and a person came later and bled the radiator. We had to keep our coats on for a while as the room only warmed up after around 4 hours The forecast during our stay was for freezing weather and snow and the property was aware of our arrival time and had a receptionist on duty when we arrived and knew which room we were renting out I would have thought that knowing how cold it was outside someone would have at least turned the heating on even if at a low setting to take the chill off the room The apartment is only 10 mins walk from the main Train and Bus stations and there are lots of eating and drinking places nearby, so wel'll placed and close to the City Centre Apart from the poorly appointed kitchen and freezing room on arrival, our stay was Ok for what we wanted but the price paid for the small room and facilities was only reasonable value for money compared to other properties in the area
