This is a strange review. We booked a four night stay in Kepplestone Manor, having previously stayed there before. We loved the location, the apartment and the space. The day after we arrived in Scotland and the day we were due to arrive in Kepplestone, I got an email from *********** telling me that our accommodation was no longer available, followed by another email to telling me to ignore the previous email. By this point, we were driving through the Cairngorm mountains so I quickly made a phonecall. It was explained to me that due to an unexpected and unsurmountable maintenance issue, our apartment was no longer available. However Lucy, the manager, had managed to source an apartment in Rubislaw Apartments next door. The apartment was equal in size and quality and we were very happy with the situation. Lucy went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect for us. There were one or two small niggly maintenance issues but these were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction and we really had a lovely stay there. The location is excellent, Kepplestone is in a really nice area and there is free parking onsite. The apartments are generally quiet, spacious and well equipped. We are unlikely to be back in Aberdeen for some time, but if and when we do return, we would be very happy to stay in Kepplestone again.

We recently stayed here for four nights with our daughter, her partner and their two cats. It can be difficult to find nice pet friendly accommodation and Kepplestone Manor is great in that regard. The apartment was spacious: two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lovely bright and airy kitchen-dining-living room. We were on the fifth floor, so while we did notice some noise, it didn't interfere significantly with our stay there. The parking is very tight - the passengers had to get out of the car before we parked it. Because there wasn't a huge amount of room. But it was fine. Our only quibble was that the apartment wasn't very clean nor was it very well equipped. Our daughter found sweet wrappers in a drawer in her room, the fridge was sticky in parts and the crockery and cutlery weren't very clean. We spoke with the caretaker and made her aware of this. There were only three wine glasses, no teapot and no sugar bowl. However, there were lovely toiletries provided. Would we stay here again? Absolutely. We loved it there. Its just such a pity it was let down by lack of attention to detail.

We had booked this property 3 months in advance, for a 3 night stay, for my graduation, through ***********. We had paid in full one month before. I requested more info on how to check in and instead our accomodation was cancelled 2 hours before check in with no explanation or communication from kepplestone themselves. I only received a notification through *********** app. Would not answer any telephone calls to explain despite the automated message confirming their office hours and that they should have been open. I have since emailed twice but have still not received any response. Absolutely disgraceful service from somewhere that looks so promising. To make things worse, I cannot leave a review on their *********** page to warn others, since we never actually stayed there.
