Great place. Beautiful building, spotless. Towels changed regularly. Superb cake giveaways in the afternoon- looked forward to seeing the cake as I came in. Super breakfasts and lovely hosts. Couldn’t fault a thing - and great vfm. Thanks Pam and Dave - super hosts and expert guest house owners. We had five rooms and all 7 of us felt the same - great place to stay - and great location.

My wife and I stayed here last week having seen the reviews on Tripadvisor. We were given a warm welcome and this continued during our stay. The accommodation is nicely furnished and the dining room looks onto the nice garden. We were in a ground floor room which was spacious, well furnished and the ensuite had a separate shower room. Breakfasts consisted of good quality items (some homemade) and nothing was too much trouble - my wife is vegetarian and Pam went out of her way to cater for her. Both Pam and Dave are happy to provide information on places to visit etc. We would certainly recommend this guest house and will not hesitate to stay here when next in Aberdeen. A private car park is at the rear. A bus stop is outside the guest house providing easy transport to the city centre.

I visited here for two nights in April 2022 I was working close to here ,I have been staying in hotels and guest ouses for over two years around this area. I must say that on arrival I was greated by the owners they was very friendly and welcoming the building was maintained to a high standard,the room was fantastic, breakfast was amazing this is by far the best place I have stayed in yet in aberdeen and will definitely be staying again.i would like to thank the owners for having me.

My sister and I stayed in the spacious top floor family room at Aurora Guest House. The room was spotless and brightly lit by two windows which we could open for fresh air. Pamela and Dave were very welcoming and proved to be excellent hosts. The full Scottish breakfast cooked by Dave, a chef in a previous life, was supplemented by a broad range of specialty options, including porridge, poached eggs with black pudding, and Aberdeen butteries. Pamela served a variety of her homemade jams and lemon curd (a favorite), and her homemade tablet and gingerbread awaited us on our return after touring. On a couple late returns, we were able to use the microwave in the dining room for our dinner with dishes Pamela provided for our use. Onsite parking was available at the back, a godsend after a long day’s outing. The guest house is well-located with convenient access to major arteries in and out of Aberdeen. We would highly recommend you stay with Pamela and Dave on your next trip to Aberdeen.
