To be fair this is a standard Premier Inn when it comes to the accommodation. And generally the staff attempt to be helpful. I have used this hotel numerous times over the past three years. HOWEVER, my last two visits have been poor. Premier Inn have a new system for bookings and passing meal information to their associated restaurants, in this case "Table Table". On my last visit this system failed on two of the three nights I stayed and I was forced to wander too and fro between the hotel and the restaurant until after about two hours they managed to sort it out. You'd think that would put me off, but no, on this month's trip to Aberdeen, I find myself in the same hotel. This time, despite me confirming at reception when I check in, I go through for breakfast, to be told sorry "you're not on our list, you need to speak with the hotel. An hour later, I give up and head to a van on the local industrial estate. Where I purchased a much nicer breakfast for half the price. Not the point.... just rubbish customer service that these two companies cannot find work around for what is obviously teething issues with a new system. I got a them and us attitude from the staff of both the hotel and the restaurant. But no one appeared to have either the authority or the will to fix the issue. Shame... I can't comment on other Premier inns, but my advice is to give this one a miss for the foreseeable future. 😡
