The hosts were very welcoming. The room was spotless. Amazing full scottish breakfast with high quality produce. Great choice for the continental breakfast too. Perfect location for what we required. Would definitely stay here again

Stayed here for 2 nights when away on a trip with friends. Our hosts were extremely friendly and very attentive, always making sure we were enjoying are stay and asking if we needed anything. Facilities were great. Comfy beds, en suite with shower, smart TV which we could connect phones to, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer etc. anything you could need. Breakfast was amazing. We had a full Scottish which was cooked perfectly. There was also a selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereals and juices to help yourself to. We had a great experience staying here and would highly recommend.

We stayed here Monday 29th and found it great value. Ample free parking, very clean and fresh, superb breakfast- did not need any lunch! Evelyn and Charlie are warm, friendly hosts. We felt it was like a home from home

A really great place to stay. Warm and friendly environment, in a splendid location. Evelyn and Charlie were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome. Glad we took their travel tips for getting from Aberdeen to Inverness because it took us through gorgeous scenery. The room is tidy and no nonsense with a hearty breakfast. Easy parking. Would stay again.

Evelyn and Charlie are just incredible. Great room, clean and homely and cozy. Breakfast made to order each day was delicious and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure a great stay for us. Everything from booking taxis, travel directions, providing bus info (stops right outside!) Recommendations for places to eat and things to do. We felt like friends and not paying guests. Highly recommend!

Arkaig is a pleasant and peaceful place to stay when visiting Aberdeen. It is well situated, located about a 15 minute walk to both the downtown area and the University/Machar Cathedral/Seaton park area. Breakfasts were tasty and cooked to order. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Evelyn and Charlie were kind and generous hosts. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.
