Cedars Guest House

My wife and I chose the Cedar Guest House online, not really sure what to expect. We traveled from Canada, so we hoped for the best. The Cedar Guest House far exceeded our expectations. It had private, off-street parking. The room was very large and was situated on the ground floor. It had not only a double bed but a couch, coffee table, desk (which my wife used to do her hair), and television. It had a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Mandy, the owner made made-to-order breakfasts every morning. Mandy and Nigel, the owners were so helpful and accommodating. Suggesting places to eat, the best way to travel to locations, and overall made us feel very welcome. We will stay here again, should the opportunity ever arise again.

Really lovely traditional B&B. Comfortable, clean, fab breakfast and the hosts are so lovely and accommodating. Parking is a real bonus and the property is in a great location. Public transport nearby and lovely cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend.

My wife and I needed 2 or 3 days to chill after a long house refurb. We chose well. Very relaxing. Quiet despite being on a busy road. Easy walking distance of City centre. Charming hosts who went out of their way to help as my wife was a little fatigued. Delicious breakfast. Nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend to others. Not surprised at their very high rating and fully endorse it.
