I went on Christmas Day with my family for Christmas lunch, there was 11 of us, the food was lovely, staff were amazing, excellent service, they went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy and had everything we wanted

First stay at this hotel. Room was lovely, comfortable and clean. Restaurant was very good. Choice of English’s and Indian. Can thoroughly recommend the Indian. Staff were helpful and helpful, especially Alex. The restaurant is open to the public. Well worth a visit.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary this weekend and our son booked us a 2 night stay here, our room was beautiful, we had the most amazing sleep, the bed was very comfortable with plenty of soft pillows, our breakfast was well presented, cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious, we had dinner in the restaurant on our second night which is Indian cuisine and I couldn't fault it, the portions were plenty and really tasty 😋. We would like to say an extra special thank you to Alexandra who welcomed us when we arrived and throughout our stay went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable, what a lovely lady she is, willing to answer any questions I had, always had a smile for you and just overall a lovely person that clearly loves working here.

Tried to book our wedding here but after calling, emailing and turning up at the venue multiple times over the last 9 months, we still to this day have not received anything back. The staff were lovely but told us that the owner has multiple businesses & is busy but we should continue to try. Such a shame as we fell in love with the venue. We're so annoyed by it we can't even bring ourselves to go and eat in the restaurant. So heads up, if you do mange to book anything here you likely will not be able to contact the higher ups if you did have an issue. Shame as the building is beautiful.

Thought booking this establishment would be a unique experience. Well, it certainly was an experience, a very negative one! A much older property, and when we arrived found the toilet seat ready to fly off when you sat down. How or why housekeeping didn’t report this is a mystery. Managed to get that sorted at least. The walls and floors aren’t very thick, as we were soon to find out. When we returned to our room in the evening, we were subjected to an almighty argument going on in the room below us. The fact we could hear every word, swearing included, along with a loud tv, did not bode well. After repeated requests to reception to get this sorted, we found that 3 attempts later the noise continued. By this time it’s 11pm and we wanted sleep. Needless to say, we handed back our keys and had to look for alternative accommodation. No refund forthcoming from the management, so a very negative experience. Would perhaps rate this place as a 2 star at best.

This hotel is in need of some maintenance. Our room was very poor decoration, in need of an update. The bathroom was in a poor condition, even the toilet seat didn’t fit properly. Badly stained carpets in the room. Won’t be staying here again, not impressed at all

For the second time this year I stayed with my sister and her husband in Drayton - I'm from The Netherlands. Like last time we had a delicious meal at the Rasoi, lunch this time - I had the Shih Paneer Thalis (see picture). The service by Rose was very friendly, helpful ánd professional

We regularly go to the Rasoi restaurant as we love Indian food. The food is delicious, both the vegetarian and the meat dishes. The service is impeccable and very friendly. Rose goes out of her way to assist me as I have difficulty walking. As a visit here is always special we will definitely be back! C M Read

I had a bad experience with this hotel & have emailed the manager 3 times & had no response. Room was cold with no heating working - took numerous calls & visits to reception as it’s not manned to get it sorted. I had no working TV for 3 of the 4 nights I stayed. I’d specifically asked not to be put in the annex & that’s where my room was - they hadn’t responded to my emails so lost the opportunity to cancel the hotel. Manager hides behind his staff & wont acknowledge complaints. No light in the shower, the room wasn’t clean, the bed wasn’t comfy & the breakfast is minimal. Would not recommend or stay again

Our room was above the kitchen. They decided to play loud music at 6am. No answer when calling reception so had to get out of bed and go down to reception and request the music was turned down/off. We have the hotel opportunity to rectify but they’ve discounted our feedback and chose to ignore us since.

I am very happy with the excellent service with the friendly staffs and delicious food excellent.Aleks and Rose were amazing . They know how to treat with the best service. Will come again.The location was calm and the garden was lovely. Tranquil setting

I recently stayed at this hotel and couldn't be more impressive. The staffs Aleks and Rose were amazing. They were so friendly. When it comes to food they gave you the best choice and explan each dish.The food was delicious also the room was clean and tidy. We stayed there for a couple of times and planning to come back as the service was the best.

We stayed at this excellent hotel for 3 nights. It’s a beautiful hotel that offers outstanding service. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The full English breakfast was delicious and sourced from local farms. Above all the staff were particularly helpful and welcoming. Thank you! We will return.

We booked last minute as was attending a party close by and needed somewhere to stay, a friend said it was one of the nicer hotels in the area however we were a little disappointed. The room we were staying in was quite grubby and run down, a lot of mould in the bathroom and on the tiles which could have easily been wiped off, which then showed me that the bathroom can’t be cleaned properly because I removed some with tissue straight away…. The sink was dirty and the bath wasn’t cleaned properly… No water in room and charged £4 a bottle… Curtains are so thin so all light comes in the room. Really the place could do with a bit of money spending on it to improve these little things, would be a much more enjoyable stay. Bar area was better and the restaurant is clearly new as looks smart. We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on food but the hotel is a little tired, could be lovely if some changes were made.
