The Crown and Thistle

Review for the restaurant: We live locally and wanted a family meal with our visiting grandmother. She is in a wheelchair and in poor health (she cannot eat much), so we were worried about her having a good time. We did not need to worry. Our wonderful waitress spotted us struggling to push our Nan in the wheelchair over the cobbles and offered to help us carry it in. She then treated us like royalty for the evening: this included getting a better chair and a comfy cushion for her (we didn't ask), anticipating every need, a carry box for her left over meal-although she ate more than she would normally-, and kindness you couldn't buy in the poshest restaurant. The food was delicious across all six meals and desserts. Finally, our waitress helped us exit at the end of the evening, using a better door that led straight onto the street. 'Next time you come, just call us and we will open this door for you again.' We will be back very soon. Thank you lovely waitress and staff from all the family.
Courtyard Oxford South

The hotel is 18 kilometers away from Oxford and 30 kilometers away from Bicester shopping village. It is very suitable for driving. The hotel is high-speed when going out. Both of these places are within half an hour. The hotel provides free parking. Relatively new, space is absolutely ok in the UK! There is no additional charge for bringing a child!
The Cosener's House

What can we say?! We got married here on 28/04/23 and it was the most fantastic day! Michelle, our incredible Wedding coordinator, made sure everything went exactly as we had planned it. Adam and the rest of the team were so kind, they really looked after our guests and made sure everyone was having the best time. The food was out of this world, especially the barbecue in the evening. Our guests are still talking about how good the burgers and chips were! We wish we could do it all again and will definitely be recommending The Cosener's House to anyone thinking of having a special celebration. Thank you just isn't enough.

We stayed for one night, our had twin beds which we’re comfortable. The room also had quite a large en-suite with shower no bath. We were on the third floor in the converted roof so had a low roof in places not ideal if you were tall. There was a good choice of items for Breakfast and the full English was cooked fresh. Will be staying again as it’s right next to Culham mx track entrance So very convenient if competing there.
