IHG Hotels&Resorts Properties in Abu Dhabi

Everything is really nice with the hotel, they even accomodated us to a one bedroom suite when requested. The only drawback was the overcrowded breakfast buffet and the arrangements being accross three rooms that was very annoying and not a pleasant experience. But the property is beautiful and location is perfect would recommend anyone to stay here.

It's quite convenient to get to all four main theme parks on Yas Island, with shuttle buses connecting them. The environment is pretty noisy, probably because it's too close to the circuit. Every night, there's engine roaring that goes on until the early hours of the morning, and the aircraft noise from Abu Dhabi airport taking off and landing is also very loud. I stayed for 3 days, and on two of those days, the housekeeping wasn't done properly: on one day, the rubbish bin wasn't emptied, and on another, the used towels weren't taken away. Even after housekeeping, there was still some dust on the floor. What I found most unacceptable was the carpet; it was all grey and hadn't been replaced. It was also placed under the foot of the bed, making the foot of the bed higher than the head. The pool was great, and the kids had a lot of fun, playing several times without any issues. I'm not sure why, but on the last day, after coming back from the pool just before leaving, I developed a red rash on my chest.

Place is good generally. However a few issues stands out. At reception check-in, they will ask you to email them your booking details or take a photo of your app booking. Please remember to hide certain private details ie. Trip.com pin number as that is only for our personal use. We waited about 1hr for checking almost 3pm the usual check-in time although many people were checking out earlier. When we entered room, bedsheets were all wet. It didn't dry properly, both beds were wet. They helped us changed. Then the lights short-circuited, they need to reset. Then the toilet choked. The flushing mechanism can be improved, it gets stuck when you press the button and flushing is not smooth. breakfast was decent, limited options for mains. Overall, it was passable. But for Yas island hotel and brand name of park inn, we expected a lot better. Similar to a budget hotel vibe
