Grand Pela Hotel & Suites

I stayed in the Executive Suite for 9 nights. First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff for their efforts in resolving the issues I encountered. In particular, I want to give a special thanks to Bella. I truly appreciated her professionalism. While the hotel has many strengths, there are also areas that require improvement for a better guest experience. [Pros] * Pool & Dining: The pool is well-maintained, and the convenience of ordering food there was great. * Grilled Catfish: Although it takes about an hour, the freshly grilled catfish is a must-try—it’s absolutely superb. * Breakfast: The breakfast spread is clean and features delicious local dishes. The fresh watermelon juice was a highlight of my mornings. * Laundry Service: I was highly impressed by the laundry service. My clothes were returned packaged so neatly they looked brand new. * Honesty: I once accidentally left my wallet in a hotel taxi. I was deeply moved by the honesty of the staff who found and returned it to me safely. [Cons] * Check-in Delay: The check-in process took 3 hours. Despite the booking app clearly stating the 2-person capacity and extra bed option, the hotel was unaware of this, forcing me to wait in the lobby while they verified the information multiple times. * Water Supply: The shower frequently ran out of water, meaning I had to wait mid-shower for it to start again. * Room Maintenance: I was initially assigned a room where the toilet was missing its seat. I stayed there for several days, mistakenly thinking that all toilets in Nigeria were like that, before eventually moving to a different room. Dining Wait Times: With no outside restaurants nearby, I relied on the hotel restaurant. However, waiting over an hour for dinner is standard, and once I even waited over two hours. I recommend ordering in advance and resting in your room until the food is ready. Noise Level: Music is played at the pool until late at night, making the pool-side rooms quite noisy. If these operational points are improved, this hotel is a very safe and reliable place to stay, thanks to its high security and 24-hour staff availability.

I went to Grandpela with my family and we had a wonderful experience, all the food we ordered were very nice, their gym well equipped, their laundry staff were good and prompt in delivering our clothes, their staff were all friendly and their services were prompt and professional. It was an amazing experience.

I stayed at Grand Pela hotel and Suites in Abuja for 3days, I had a seamless stay during the period I was there. I enjoyed every of the facility most especially the breakfast compare to the last time I was there. Please maintain this standard as I will definitely use your hotel again.

I enjoyed my stay in grand pela hotel and suites and the staff were very professional, nice food and a friendly atmosphere.what a place to be. I can't wait to visit there again whenever am in Abuja Nigeria. The experience was wow and topnotch. The hotel management should keep it up.

The reception staff who checked me in gave me the worst room 303 on 3rd floor, the Airconditioning unit in this room is installed on top of the rntrance door, it can't cool the room at all. I had to fight to get my room changed till 1am in the night. Very bad guest service experience

It took ages to find my booking. You can imagine that after a long trip this is not ideal. The bathroom had only one small towel (most hotels have several sizes to accommodate various needs - e.g. larger towels for women). The bathroom mat, edges of the tiles, and the ceiling were mouldy. Staff were helpful and very polite. I can’t fault them.
