Mayan Palace Acapulco Playa

All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful . A shout out to Marco in the pool area. He went out of his way to make our stay very enjoyable. I would love to be able to list everyone’s name on here. The joy staff was entertaining at the pool. We did not make it to the evening shows. Our loss. The staff definitely wants to please you. I would recommend this to any adults. There’s not much for teenagers to do. I felt very safe there , I will go back if I have a chance .

Good resort in general, rooms can improve sound proof, I was able to hear everything from the room next door and the door in between was to thin and didn't seal properly.

The staff at Vidanta Acapulco are the best! We are always treated like royalty at Vidanta resorts and this was no exception. We are especially thankful to Baldo Gomez and Daniel Olea. They helped us see all the great sights and were available to take us everywhere we wanted to go as well as give us great information. We left there with two new friends and a great time at the resort.

Before I comment on the few disappointments, I have to say that the staff was friendly, the food was outstanding, and the pool is terrific. Before hurricane Otis this was probably a great family destination, but we were disappointed to find that the damage to the beachfront properties really limited the amenities available to the golf resort guests. Simple things like the tennis courts haven't been put back in service and beach experience wasn't restful because there was no defense against the myriad people offering (understandably) everything from massages to ATV rides to far too few beachgoers. We had a restful time but as a result of the limited offerings could/would have done with a shorter trip. We wished that some of that had been disclosed a bit better to inform that decision. Lastly - skip the timeshare pitch at this one at all costs. It's one of the worst I've experienced, very aggressive hard sell that will spoil your day beyond whatever trivial amenity they offer in return for attending - unless you enjoy it for sport.

My wife and I were here for our anniversary and the place was great! Food was excellent, lazy river was relaxing and awesome, swimming pool was clean! The people were very nice and accommodating! We will come back again!!

Great hotel for a family vacation,the service was great,really clean. staff was very nice and helpful ,the food was great in the restaurants .

Very ridiculous mask policies inside the pool. Not allow to take your own food to the beach and also have penalties almos in enything you do. They will just threat you to deduct it from you deposit. Also the state have taxes that they never inform you until you have to check out.

The resort is ok but unfortunately is difficult to find gluten free food, even Sweet Paris Creperie, is the only location that you won’t find gluten free crepes. Vidanta resorts are very big and they don’t have a restaurant or station with fresh press juices.

The hotel facilities are great, lots of pools and a cool waterpark! The people there is extremely gentle and friendly. The downside is that the restaurants and bars prices are too excesive. Also in my room there was not a fridge (even a small one).
