The hotel was just okay. Bathrooms were not very clean. The beds were hard like bricks. Air-conditioning kept stopping and the staff had to keep coming to reset the breakers. Water leaked out of the showers. The view from two of the bedrooms were of the slum community.

To be honest, the price and quality are quite matched. In fact, the interior is quite average, and the room is particularly small; if the family used to be unsuitable, business trips are OK!

We returned to Accra from other parts of Ghana for one night prior to flying home. We stayed at Frankie's because our previous hotel (Urbano) was booked. Many of the things I noted in the review of Urbano apply to Frankie's - well located on Oxford Road. The room at Frankie's was the largest we had in Accra. Also the wi-fi was the best we had. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is no elevator in the hotel. The entrance is up a flight of stairs from the street -- this makes it probably a bit quieter than Urbano though less accessible for some. The breakfast is served in the restaurant in the hotel. It is included with the room. It is not a buffet; one selects from a menu. Nonetheless it was very good. We were very pleased with Frankie's
Movenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra

The location is good and the restaurants are fine. Breakfast was good too. However, the room was bad. The wind from the air conditioner smelled musty, and I asked for a room change, but they didn't respond and just sprayed me with a deodorant spray. The bed was also damp and cold. It was not a comfortable stay.

It is a simple hotel, everything is a little dated. You must certainly not have high expectations. The rooms are full with furniture you don't have to do with. There is a TV air-conditioning telephone and refrigerator present in the rooms. The air-conditioning room was not good and water was leaked, the shower was not so fine, the shower head was so forward and the walls were so dirty, especially the inside of the bathroom door. We got another larger room, this was better decorated but here too all dust and dead animals in the corners. There were cattle lakes around. Wifi was free but not always as strong and good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very simple two toasts and a delicious omelet with pot tea and juice from a suit. They have a restaurant with a good Lebanese kitchen, first ask what they have. Not everything is present. They make the food fresh that you will try, you will have to wait very long. Hotel light on a busy street, if you sleep in front you don't close your eye by noise. Rooms on the back are better. There were many mugs in the rooms. Despite the insulation of a lot of stuffed.

The rooms are very warm, neat and smells great. The front desk receptionists are very cheerful, polite and very helpful, housekeepers are professional with their jobs. The restaurant dishes are not bad,I enjoyed my breakfast, started with an a la carte then experienced the buffet service. It was my second time in accra with my friends and it was worth it..We look forward to coming back to Gc royal hotel.I hope they maintain this positive energy.
