Perfect room, clean hotel was not let into the restaurant because of age the restaurant manager, didn’t let us eat in the restaurant. We had to order room service instead, and there was tables in the restaurant the spa was okay, but the spa staff were making dirty looks on us and reception tried to charge us extra fees!

The hotel and setting are beautiful very comfortable. The food was very disappointing. Very expensive and poor quality.

We had an awful experience at this place. We booked a birthday meal for a party of 6 at Timmy Macs Restaurant three days in advance. However when we arrived on the evening at the appointed time the hostess says she has no record of our booking. I explained when I booked it and how. She had absolutely no interest at all. She says she did not take the booking so it wasn't her fault. Again I had to explain that the hotel took the booking so it should have been recorded & held. She says we would have to just wait for a table. I checked at the reception of the hotel as the whether there was any record of our booking. The guy at reception could not have cared any less and just said mistakes happen. We found the whole experience extremely upsetting. The staff were rude and we got the impression that with the restaurant busy they didn't care less if you had a booking or not. We got no explanation or apology from anyone at the hotel. We decided to leave and try and find an alternative venue for our meal. I emailed the hotel about our experience but I haven't received an explanation never mind an apology over the event. I will never visit this establishment again and certainly would not be recommending it to anyone.

We recently stayed here for 2 nights with 4 children ranging from 6 months to 9 years. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a touch of elegance, the bedroom was very spacious and beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds and pillows. The children thoroughly enjoyed the pet farm, fairy trial, the organic farm but especially the kids club which Molly created a lovely happy friendly atmosphere that the children loved. We ate in both the treehouse and the Timmy Macs bistro where the food was delicious and the choices on the menu were plentiful! The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our dining experience. In particular Evan was very helpful and friendly during breakfast and went over and above to provide a professional service. The leisure centre was fantastic with great changing room facilities. Overall a wonderful family friendly hotel that I would highly recommend.

My daughter Rachel recently married Dean Mckie in the woodlands hotel in a civil ceremony. All we can say from start to finish everything was 100% perfect. The ceremony was held in a fantastic room perfectly decorated for the 140 guests. The food was absolutely beautiful with plenty to eat and more offered to everybody. The Staff May I say, nothing was too much. Special mention to the young lady from Askeaton who was working the bar Nxt to reception before the ceremony and in the hall Afterwards she was so Polite and happy To serve n chat with old @ young guests , I’m sorry I have forgotten her name as the brides dad I was trying to speak with everybody , but this young Lady stood out. I hope Management congratulate her on our behalf. We danced till early hours and sang for even later. Up For b.fast which was a delightful menu of choice. Check out at 12 was efficient and pleasant. I wud advise anybody thinking of visiting or having a wedding to check out Woodlands Adare Limerick. Top people, Top food,memorable experience thank you all for a fantastic memory All

I am Italian, totally trustworthy and well traveled. The hotel building is an old one, US motel style, pretty wide with stairs to go to your room. The room is extra large, pretty cheap in furniture, and old. No proper standings for the second luggage, bed uncomfortable. We arrived late and had some room service, pizza and cold sandwich of poor quality and taste. Impression is that everything there is done to suck money from customers, ie the over expensive vending machines, and the matter that at the reception don't have adapters, but they do have a specific vending machine for that. Having paid 185 euros, it is too much for the place we were in. Ah! Cheap shampoos and shower gel.

A wonderful hotel that never fails to disappoint. A very relaxed and happy returning customer. This hotel is a treasure trove. I've stayed and visited many times with the kids and as a hotel guest. This time we visited as a couple. Revas is a fab spa, so we'll kept and clean. Staff are so friendly and professional. The pool as always is top class. We ate on Timmy Macs and again it lived up to all expectations. A couple of drinks in Dicks Bar finished off a lovely day. The Woodlands has everything you need right at your finger tips and all staff what they can for you. What makes The Woodlands stand out is the way they make you feel there. They make you feel like the value your custom. It has a family feel, a home away from home.

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Adare. Room spacious, modern, and clean. Food over the 3 night visit was good with plenty of options. Kids loved the pet farm and tree house. The swimming pool is really good, aided by very modern changing rooms and facilities. We all loved our time here and would fully recommend this hotel if you have a young family.

Myself and my two daughters had such an enjoyable night in the hotel. The food was very tasty and the waiting staff were so nice and helpful. We even got a Cappuccino when leaving after breakfast. And just to mention also : the room was absolutely lovely,very spacious snd immaculate… plenty towels etc. we’ll done to you all , it’s a credit to management and staff. We’ll be definitely back again soon.

My wife, my one year old son, my three year old daughter and I visited in August and stayed in a family room. There’s plenty to do in the hotel. There’s a mini farm with various birds, rabbits, alpacas and goats. Just behind that there’s a great playground that’s built like a miniature town with a police station, a fire station, a bus and other little buildings which our daughter loved. There’s a fairy trail at the back of the hotel which is built around the organic garden where the hotel grows its own vegetables. We didn’t get to do much of the walking trails but it looked fantastic cutting through the trees. The swimming pool has a children’s pool section and was warm which was great for my daughter as she gets cold easily. A great addition to the hotel is the treehouse area at the side where they sell pizzas and burgers, and ice cream. There’s also a bar there. But the best part is the wooden huts that are built for families to sit in. It was quite warm when we were there so we sat with the doors open. But I imagine it’s fantastic in the winter because there’s a stove in each one, so when it’s cold outside just close the doors with the stove on and it would be very cozy while you have food and drinks. The day we arrived there was a wedding which we thought would be quite disruptive. But the wedding party only used the reception area for a couple of hours and after that we didn’t hear or see them. Timmy Macs restaurant is very family friendly and the food is top notch. The staff in both the restaurant and the hotel were extremely friendly and good with kids. The hotel runs a kids club daily which is full of activities to keep the kids occupied for a few hours with the added bonus of the adults getting some relaxation time without the kids. The only criticism we would have is how warm the room was. There was no air conditioning in the room so the only way to cool the room was to open the window. There was a desk fan in the room but that had minimal impact. The room was on the ground floor so leaving the window open during the night or while we’re not in the room may not be the safest. But overall we enjoyed our stay immensely.

We had our beautiful wedding day in The Woodlands and all we can say is WOW, the service is out of this world! The food is the best food I've ever tasted and the staff go above and beyond for you and yhe most friendliest team to deal with. You deserve all the success, you are all fantastic. Our guests were absolutely blown away with your hotel and service. Big huge thank you to David our wedding coordinator. Nothing was ever a problem and had us so relaxed on the day. The rooms are amazing and so much entertainment for children. Thank you so much again to everyone who made our weekend the best weekend ever. The Woodlands will forever hold a special place in our heart! We will be back soon!!!

My sister and I had a lovely night in the Woodlands Hotel. Lovely location with great outdoor terrace to sit & enjoy a glass of wine. Staff were extremely friendly, pleasant and efficient. Our room was very comfortable and clean & we had a great sleep in the fab beds. This visit was only for one night, but we will be back! Congrats to all the staff & management. Continued success to this lovely hotel.

We got married 19July. Amazing day, exceptional service, huge variety of choice of food and drink options. Very helpful staff who treated us like royalty. David&Elaina were huge help in run up to the big day. Highly recommend. Paul&Michelle
