Hotel is in good location very near to the beach, staff were friendly and no real problems with the room, I didn't eat in the hotel so I'm not sure what the food was like but would I stay again, might do but it was a bit of a trek to the room.

Upon our arrival, we find that there is no apartment available, we are offered two studios knowing that we are two adults and two children, one 10 years old and the other 2 years old. While when booking we chose an apartment.
After 3 nights he finally finds us an apartment where the sink is clogged, several lamps that didn't work, lots of cockroaches.
We demanded that every day for repair... But nothing.
No communication, no response.
We asked the cleaning lady, the receptionists every time, and every day, (knowing that we booked 10 nights) and still nothing.
We left the hotel today and none of that has been fixed.
Bad service.
Zero cleanliness
zero communication
And equipment not speaking of it.
I do not recommend it.

The people who work in the hotel are very sweet and helpful (except at the reception).
Unfortunately, the booking system is outdated, making it unclear to the staff which rooms are free and clean. Unfortunately, we and many other guests had to deal with overbooking. We had to move 3 times during our 5 day stay.
The rooms are basic, but okay. If desired, extra cleaning can be done, we chose to buy extra cleaning products and toilet paper ourselves. There were a lot of ants everywhere (in all the rooms where we have been).
Location is nice, close to a small shopping center and the promenade along the coast. Unfortunately, some rooms are adjacent to 2 bars/restaurants that play very loud live music until about 3:00 AM. In my opinion, these rooms should be closed to people who visit the hotel to also sleep. Sleeping is impossible in these rooms.

Do not make the mistake we did. Just because it was cheap compared to other local ones truss me spend the money elsewhere. Normally we stay at Anezi hotel but this time we booked this as it was cheaper. We got there and the receptionist and colleagues were so rude speaking in their own country and tryna take more money from us at check in. She didn’t wanna show us the rooms before hand either and after reading other rooms I clearly know why. The hygiene from this place is disgusting bugs everywhere lights don’t work in the toilet and they don’t clean the toilets either. This place has no AC and you would think they do as it’s a hot country and every other hotel has it but they don’t. Needs renovations asap or it needs closing. DO NOT BOOK HERE PLS!! Spend a bit extra and book Hamilton hotel, Anezi hotel or Argana hotel they’re rlly good.

I've had a very pleasant stay at the Tagadirt, with a nice room that also has had a good WiFi connection, some rooms don't, but luckily we got one that does. The hotel itself has a very nice atmosphere with a beautiful style in which it is built, even though the ways to the reception can be quite long. The rooms are equipped according to their price. It's all a bit older but it's clean and it works. Staff is very nice and helpful, but they've clearly got friends who own a taxi business which is why they tell you not to get a bus to Marrakech but rather go by private transfer, which is very expensive. Don't listen to them in that instance. The pool is nice and clean, but in the high-season might be a bit small for my liking. I'm sure if they've got an investor for this place and they just renewed the rooms it'd be a very good hotel that could also easily bump up prices.

This place has not really recovered from 2 years covid closure when it was left to deteriorate. Whilst they have changed the name to a ' boutique' hotel, they have done nothing to create a new image. It's the same old place with a lick of paint here and there ! I first stayed here over 30 years ago and have subsequently stayed many times- the last time being about 5 years ago when I decided it was time to move on - same hot plates, same wardrobes, same beds, same chairs AND they had put the prices up quite alot. I noticed that they have re opened as a boutique hotel and assumed they had spent alot of money on the place. They had also reduced the prices ! So- I booked on for a couple of nights on a nostalgia trip. It was a mistake! All that has changed it the name ! Also, there is no restaurant open anymore. The place has a feeling of neglect and really should not be open to the public before a full refurb ! Staff were polite and helpful. Rooms needed a deep clean ! I will not be returning before a refurb !
