Le Riad Villa Blanche

I do stay in a variety of different places whilst travelling and La Villa Balnche is one of my favourite properties. Sadly their service levels let them down. The premises are wonderful the rooms large and very well appointed- particularly at junior suite level. But you are not made to feel welcome here and whilst the food is lovely, the menu is rather limiting and, once again, service is not good. Grounds are very well maintained. Spa is lovely but again service issues there too.

The premises and furnishings truly are wonderful. It is all very tranquil and relaxing, but it is the hospitality sector, and there is very little hospitality ! No real welcome, and you dont get a sense that anyone is happy for you to be there ! I am a repeat visitor and have previously given excellent reviews. No one recognises me as a repeat guest, which, for a small hotel, is very underwhelming ! The suites are huge and extremely well furnished. However, very limited room service is available and painfully slow. Restaurant serves excellent quality food and decor is stunning. However service is not good.

We stayed here for two nights and were so glad we did as the hotel is gorgeous. Our room was large and luxurious with a wonderful terrace overlooking the pool and towards the ocean. The restaurant standards and food were delicious and the breakfast was substantial. The only downfall was the very mediocre massage both my husband and I received. Both attendants were disinterested and kept leaving the massage room to “chat” with other workers, leaving the door slightly open which is not what you expect during a massage! The rest of the experience at the hotel was excellent so disappointing that the massage was below expectations.

This hotel is extremely beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the architecture inside the hotel is out of this world. However, the service is very poor. When we got there we were given a key and shown to our room and that was that lol. No explanation of what’s available, what meal times are or where anything is, you’re sort of just left to figure it out yourself. Lunch finishes at 3 and dinner starts at 8 and the only thing they can give you in between that time is a salmon or chicken sandwich which took about 45/50 minutes to come (it was yummy but shouldn’t have taken that long). They also seemed reluctant to give us a sandwich when we asked. Dinner was nice but the service was just so bad, we had to ask for everything at least twice and our dinner came well before our drinks twice in a row. Also, all the menus and spa treatments are in French and don’t speak a ton of English, just for you to be mindful. Unfortunately it just Didn’t seem like anyone wanted us to be there! Again, the grounds were gorgeous but I wouldn’t stay there again.

We had a lovely stay here. Once inside it was lovely and peaceful apart from at night when we were disturbed by traffic noise. The overall building and decor was lovely. The candles in the evenings created a charming and tranquil ambiance. We had one evening meal here which was delicious. If we were to visit Agadir again we would stay here.

This was an amazing hotel with all the right ingredients to make a fantastic stay. Rooms stunning , staff great , Resturant perfect ,super clean , spa very special. I can’t use enough expletives And the value was excellent Well done riad villa Blanche !

Arrived at this beautiful boutique hotel yesterday after great trip in Marrakech, Oualidia and Essaouria. It’s newish, but built in Riad style. Lovely rooms, good location, food great so far. BUT, my reason for writing this initial review so early is frustration with a few issues: 1. No real welcome after very long hot drive, 2. No explanation or tour of facilities, just left to wander. 3. No welcome drink, cooling towels etc evident elsewhere in Maroc. 4. Because it was approaching 2pm once checked in, only food was club sandwich. No choice. Then, later on after an admittedly lovely dinner and long journey, we needed an early night (well about 10:30!), so, to continue: 5. Local live band had been playing during dinner at reasonable volume, but when we got to bed this was ramped right up so that penetrating bass and percussion shook our suite. It eventually stopped around 12.15am after we stomped around the place in our dressing gowns pleading for respite! There was no warning of loud live entertaining here. 6. Room service non existent so far. Phones just not answered and, even after physically going and requesting some tea, we are still waiting nearly an hour later. So, service experience so far does not compare with stays elsewhere on this trip, but I will be happy to update if things improve!

A truly beautiful boutique Riad hotel. Situated in the tourist region but nearer to Agadir Bay so a taxi ride into the main town. It’s decorated in true Moroccan style. I was so pleased we chose this place to stay out of all there is on offer in Agadir. It’s an oasis of calm and relaxation which is what we wanted. Lovely staff who Cannot do enough to help. Gorgeous spa in the basement where we had an Hamam experience followed by a massage which was incredible. Had dinner in the restaurant one evening and that was superb. We chose a different type of tagine each but there were other options on the menu. Alcohol is available if you want it as there’s a fully stocked bar. Gorgeous outdoor pool. Great breakfast. Comfy beds and lovely shower. I would say this place is better suited to people without children as it’s a serene atmosphere. It felt like we were staying with a wealthy family member we felt so at Home. I would come back in a heartbeat.
