Agadir-Ida-Ou Tanane Province
This resort will surpass any expectations. The resort is beautiful,  incredibly comfortable, and spotless . The varied choice of food is perfectly cooked with amazing attention to detail....... and this is not even the best part!  The staff are absolutely incredible in every way! We went for a relaxing lazy holiday for 7 nights but this holiday will stay with us for a long time! We arrived late at night,  the following day the weather was not its best so we took advantage of the Hammam, massage and jacuzzi package.  This experience is highly recommended. The spa staff are professional,  thorough, and will make you feel incredible. We were spoilt for choice in the restaurant,  the staff are so attentive and will happily help in any way they can to make you feel special. Remember the lazy weekend we wanted? I opted to join in on the yoga classes, aqua aerobics,  darts,  crazy golf,  arabic lessons, and managed to catch the majority of the Tagine demonstration ( she managed to join in for the full demonstration ), which incidently tasted perfect. We skipped the dance lessons but still attended to watch. There is plenty to do here and still plenty of time to relax. The staff make time for you, and this makes the holiday so  special and unique. They are no longer seen as staff but as very dear friends who we will miss dearly, which is why we are booking our next holiday here.  A special thank you to Lahcen, Rachid, Hamza, Ayoub, Hisham, Rachid, Otmane, Abdullah, and Mehdi.  In fact, a special thank you to you all!

We have only done city breaks in Morocco before and this was the first time that we visited to just chill out and get some winter sun by the sea. We loved the relaxed vibe at this hotel and would book again in a heartbeat. We felt really welcome even before we arrived because I emailed the hotel about something before we arrived and heard back directly from the manager Ikram. We were really impressed with her presence at breakfast each day, checking in with each and every group of guests, how was our stay, was there anything at all we needed. It was great to see a hotel manager to present, smiling and engaged one to one with guests. Deep bow Ikram! 🙏 The location of the hotel us superb, right on the beach, roaring ocean day and night, birds singing, just the sound of nature and peace. Our room was amazing, we really appreciated being able to retreat to a hammock when we wanted to. The pool is unheated which was fantastic. Really anti inflammatory, and we swam in it every day, had gorgeous weather. Beautiful 24/25 degrees all week. Breakfasts were lovely, full buffet of all you could wish for, eggs done however you want, fruit, meat, all sorts of breads and cakes, yoghurts, smoothies, Chia, flaxseed, dates, freshly squeezed orange juice, herb infused water. Really there is too much to say. But if you are looking for a happy place, with a kind and chilled vibe. And all sorts of people, couples, families, singles, mainly surfers and a few of us older guys and gals we can totally recommend this lovely gem of a hotel. Oh I forgot to mention the amazing Rosa and Naila in the hammam. Loved the hammam and the massages. Rosa really took care of me and it was so good for a painful injury. Thank you so mucb or as we say in Wales Diolch yn Fawr. X

Agadir
This resort is absolutely beautiful and by far one of the best I’ve stayed in. The hotel lobby and jungle bars are breathtaking almost looks like a mueseum. Got in checked in asked for a complimentary upgrade he said he will do it but not sure if he did as I felt like we was in a standard room at the back with no views. Room was sooo far away it took a good 5-7 mins to walk to main bit and after a bit of getting used to we found a route. They take your suitcases for you but when you are waiting at the front they let other people go so was waiting agesss. No one also informed us of the poolside towels at check in and I had to find from Tripadvisor that we get these There are also cats everywhere but they are not like stray dirty cats. So if you sit near the outside for your meals be prepared to have a cat coming up your leg. Food was average and you get sick of it after a while. On the plus side I did not get ill or anything from it as I have done other resorts. I also noticed the waiters were not coming towards us to take our drink order once seated but were favouring more the white people (probably after tips) This place is not near anything at all and is around 30 mins from main agadir. If you are a person who doesn’t like leaving a resort then this is your place. If you like activities I would recommend staying agadir. As this is in taghazout activities to get to agadir cost twice as much and if we’re staying in agadir would have been cheaper. The resort doesn’t have much to do. Beach is pretty basic and has a few camels on there. There is only 1 heated pool so all the other pools were empty leaving one to be cramped up. The staff don’t understand English much and get a bit confused so be patient with them. Housekeeping are very quiet just get on with it Tips: Ask for a complimentary upgrade Ask for pool cards at reception for the towels Take your own iron they won’t give you one Take toiletries as there’s 1 pump on shower wall which is shampoo and body wash in 1

Royal Mirage Agadir

Agadir-Ida-Ou Tanane Province
I stayed here for my 40th and the staff at the hotel were the nicest and friendliest I have experienced from staying at any hotel overseas. My wife back home, watching our baby, (I went with my brother in law) arranged for the staff to bake a cake and sing happy birthday (My wife's doing...). They were all over it. Played music over the speakers, gave us wine, cut up the cake, sang happy birthday, they loved it.. They arranged the taxis and everything. The hotel was very clean, and the view from the hotel is excellent. They were very friendly people and kept on talking to us when we were in the foyer building up friendship. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were telling me that they have worked here 23 years and 34 years respectfully. Anyone working here that long must enjoy their job. The breakfast was lovely as well. They served fried sugar donuts, grilled cheese toasties, had eggs, sausages, potatoes, fruit, cereal, yoghurts, omelette and crepe stations, and others. The coffee was very good. I have been all over the world, and I don't tend to go back to the same place twice, however I would consider it and stay in this hotel again. The hotel manager was awesome as well. The only thing as a downside, and it's outside the hotels control, is if you go out at night you will be approached by street beggers and people selling drugs. You can wave them off, and they won't go near you. But be streetwise when going out at night. There are police everywhere on the beach front watching, but the street beggers and those selling drugs try to approach you when you are out of sight from the police. Just be streetwise and vigilant.

Hilton Taghazout Bay Beach Resort & Spa

Taghazout|0.62km from Tazegzout Golf
This is by far the oddest hotel experience of my life. The Hilton Tagazhoute is by far the nicest Hilton I've ever not stayed in, or certainly not completed a stay in. We had rented a lovely apartment almost next to the hotel and every day we went to either the beautiful Calypso club or the main hotel restaurants. Looking back through my credit card statement it was three lunches, one amazing dinner and three 'just for drinks & snacks' visits. We'd made friends with the staff, my son had been invited to surf with the waiters and we'd been treated like friends by everyone. As a treat for my last night I decided to book a room using some Hilton points. The idea was to enjoy the hotel properly and enjoy the room for a comfortable nights sleep. All going to plan and the hotel welcomed me even at 12.30...a bit cheeky, but I was genuinely excited to make the most of it. My room was amazing, sea view, super comfy bed and to top it all I was invited to a buffet on the terrace by the team. It started to go super weird about 2 hrs later when my son (who had been in the hotel 4-5 times already) came through the beach entrance and was pursued by a pretty grumpy looking security guard. He gesticulated and shouted that we must leave as we weren't guests and couldn't use the pool. An understandable mistake and it was easily rectified when I showed him my room key. All calm again. We went up to my room and at five o'clock we were treated to complimentary drinks in the bar, so far so amazing. We went out for dinner about a mile away and at some point I recall hearing some pretty loud music. I was hoping it was nowhere near the hotel but on arriving back it was obvious it was in the hotel grounds, full club music, light show, dancing. For additional context the Hilton is not a beach club vibe hotel and with average rates of over $250 a night not likely to attract a beach club crowd. We had some drinks hoping that as advertised the club would close at 11pm. By 11.30 it had only become louder and I knew I wasn't going get any sleep. At this stage I asked my son to wait whilst I grabbed my case. At this point the same security guard ran across the hotel lobby shouting at us to 'go to reception, go to reception' not entirely sure why. I packed my case and by the time I'd made it to reception there were 2 other guests complaining about the music. They were offered rooms on the other side of the hotel not overlooking Calypso where the music was coming from. It's now well after midnight and when I asked to check out I was told I couldn't and must either pay or get a different room. A bit of a stand off ensued with a further 2 guests joining the queue to complain. Finally my room was refunded and I had to walk back in the dark to our apartment, where, yes, ironically I could still hear the music! This has to be the oddest experience of my numerous Hilton stays. Still no idea what had rattled the security guard so much that he was so hostile

Surf Safari Morocco - Hostel

Tamraght|0.65km from Cheval Agadir Ranch Acienda
My friend and I arrived at Surf Safari after some amazing and fun but turbulent times and it was exactly what we needed :) . Younis offered to pick us up from Taghazout and told us about different activities we could do on the way to the hostel. We felt well looked after from the start and it was extremely nice of them to come and get us. We had a communal dinner that night, which helped us to bond and get to know other guests. The food was delicious and plentiful, with extra sauce and veg on the side, always appreciated :) After the dinner everyone was going to the beach. My friend and I were tired and initially we were not going to go but Younis convinced us to join the group and it was a the best thing that happened that night. The experience was magical and I felt peaceful again. We all watched waves and a bonfire and played instruments together. The hostel is very clean and feels luxurious, with crisp white sheets, perfectly trimmed lawn and a swimming pool. We didn't do many other activities but we were offered a free yoga class on the first day. Julian, the yoga teacher is very helpful and interesting to talk to. Surf Safari is a great place if you want to experience a friendly and warm vibe, with fun volunteers like Ibi and James. We both felt really well looked after and we really appreciated all extras we were offered without an extra charge, like doing our washing, being picked up and going to the beach for the bonfire. Absolutely recommend this place!

I spend 2 or 3 days in Agadir every year, and always stay at `The New Farah. The staff is simply amazing, especially the manager and reception staff. They treat me with such respect, they are helpful and so friendly. My room is always ready even when I arrive at the crack of dawn. I always end up with a big room, with a beautiful bathroom. The sky lounge and the pool are great too. I just love the location. the whole place is always spotless.

Avoid! Booked this hotel for a mother/daughter holiday to celebrate my daughters 18th and my 51st. On arrival we were told we were being upgraded & thought this was wonderful (even though we thought this a bit odd as the French couple before us were told the hotel was fully booked & they couldn’t upgrade)…only to find the next day we had been placed above construction works! When I complained at reception, they told me there were no works…until I played them the recording from my room! They later admitted the kitchens were being upgraded. I asked to move hotels as this could be heard throughout. I was told to speak to the rep the next day who had 10 other hotels we could move to. The rep did not show…all day! The music around the pool was turned right up to hide the noise…not relaxing at all! The internet cuts in and out, again we were told this was temporary. It was not. I have complained to Love Holidays. The hotel has denied any construction work saying it was a two hour water leak fix. Another fairytale! I have recordings over the two days and a photo of the construction works. The reception staff are rude & deny any failures! The hotel is in need of maintenance. Carpets are filthy & paint peeling from walls. Food could be improved also. We could have overlooked this…but not the loud drilling & constant hammering noise on our walls!

Arrival - This was quick and easy, our room was amazing it was a junior suite in atlas so much space including a walk in wardrobe and the massive walk in shower was just brilliant, as some people have already said the bed and more the pillows just 5 star. The complex itself is enormous and you do need to be quite fit to get around but it's so clean and the staff are so friendly you start to not notice the walks. The Pools - these are split into different levels with the lower pool more like an ice bath as this is not heated but the upper pool is nice. Honestly in the 10 days we stayed here there was never a time we did not have choices of sunbeds around the pool it was just great. Food and Drink – When we go all inclusive we always choose min 4 out of 5 rating and 4 star hotel just to try and guarantee a better standard and honestly this is the best food we have had at any of the previous dozen or so hotels we have been to. There is very little pre- cooked food as most of it is cooked at separate stations it really is like a military operation and the quality of the ingredients is fantastic. Drinks are what you would expect and always free flowing we had no problems with anyone trying to charge us any extra for what we drank. There has been a number of comments about table sizes and lack of small tables again nothing we had any problems with if we sat indoors there was plenty of tables for 2 and if we sat outside then we just sat at a table for 4 and sometimes someone will join you but that is no big problem either. (Most of the hotel guests are German or French but they nearly all speak English to some degree). Entertainment - We happen to be there on Halloween night and I have never seen so much effort and attention to detail put into something (download and check the app before going you will know what clothes to take for each night). The rest of the entertainment was ok. Why 4 stars not 5 – This is because our first 5 days where amazing the whole hotel was full of energy and smiling faces both guests and staff it had a real chilled and laid back atmosphere, however the last 5 days the whole atmosphere changed not that it was bad or anything its just the place almost just went to sleep, the average age went up by about 30 years and people just seemed a little grumpy this also came across with the staff just not as many happy faces but that said we still had a fabulous holiday.

The counter is very enthusiastic and will take the initiative to introduce you to how to play in the local area, that is, the location of the hotel is slightly biased, and the hotel has a restaurant similar to a Chinese restaurant.
