Hotel Mates Ageo

The reception staff were polite. They were responsive when I brought up my concerns, which I appreciate. As others have mentioned in reviews, the building and facilities might be a bit old, but I think it's a hidden gem. It's close to the station, and it's also a hotel where students stay.

I wish they had a bidet toilet.

The staff service was good. Breakfast was also good. The building is old, but it wasn't uncomfortable. The drink service was also good.

I used this hotel for a solo trip. I was bothered by the smell of cigarette smoke in the room and the discoloration of the floor, which seemed to be due to age, but otherwise, it was wonderful.

Since I was staying on New Year's Eve, the front desk staff kindly gave me cup noodles and a hot eye mask to ring in the new year, and they were very kind and helpful in answering any questions I had. The room felt a bit old, but I was grateful for the reasonable price and the breakfast buffet. The view of Mount Fuji from Ageo Station was absolutely stunning and breathtaking.

The breakfast was simple but quite good. The coffee was surprisingly tasty. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It would have been even better if there was a large public bath.

It's very convenient, being close to Ageo Station and with plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. It was raining that day, but because it's so close to the station, I was able to arrive without getting wet. The front desk staff were kind and polite, and I would definitely like to stay here again.

The service and hospitality were impeccable. My room was a corner room, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the partition between it and the next room was a concrete wall—a first for me in a business hotel. I was able to enjoy a quiet stay, even at night, without any noise from the next room. I had requested a quiet room, and I was very happy that they fulfilled my request. I'll be staying in this area for work, so I'll use this hotel every six months. It's a shame I couldn't have breakfast due to time constraints, but I hope to try it sometime.

The location is good. There's a convenience store a 5-minute walk away. There seem to be few employees.
