The staff are super friendly, the hotel is quiet, the pool is clean. Room is fairly basic (we have a 1-bed apartment) but lots of space for us (couple with 1 child), very comfortable beds, clean. We also have lots of vegan options at breakfast - breads & spreads, cereals, nuts, fruits, tomatoes, olives, cucumber. The location of the hotel is great, bus stop to chania just outside, fairly big supermarket just a couple of minutes away. Would happily return here.

Beautiful hotel. Very good breakfest and dinner in the italian restaurant connected to the place. The chef is really skilled and the personel is very frendly and helpful. In the beginning of our stay there was some logistic problems with our orders, but that really improved after a couple of days. We got help with everything we needed, from car rental to infants chair and everything in between. Everybody at the Hotel is really friendly and personal, asking how we are doing and if everything is allright when we meet them. A really great experience over all.

Spotless hotel and grounds. Staff are delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. The staff were continuously tidying up. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful week here. The staff was absolutely wonderful - so kind, caring and helpful. It was very clean and fresh everywere. We will definately stay here again if we come back to Crete. The one and only thing that was negative and dissapointing, was that on saturday evening there was a buffé (instead of being able to choose from the menu) And the buffé was very plain and similar to the breakfastbuffé.

It was 7 yrs we last visit hotel Oscar. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by manager Dimitris who welcomed us home, that melted my heart. We got an awesome room. The staff are awesome and goes above and beyond for all guests. Thumbs up.

Just had a lovely week at Oscars. What made this hotel so special was the large room with a fantastic shower. The wide variety of breakfast choice. The sunbeds which you didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn to bag. The location, yes on a main road but didn't bother us, close to all the restaurants and a fantastic beach opposite. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained as is the hotel itself. Finally the staff always with a smile on their faces. Will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay. We received a very warm welcome and made to feel very comfortable. The staff were brilliant with my 11 year old daughter. They were always friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side but very clean. I would have liked more storage for clothes as there was only a small wardrobe, no drawers. The beds were comfortable. The room was cleaned daily apart from Sunday. Pool areas are lovely. We preferred the rear pool with the pool bar as this was more spacious. There was no problem getting a sun-bed. It was so nice not having to get up to reserve a bed! Breakfast was ok. Not really to our taste but we managed to find something to eat. I would have liked more prepared fresh fruit. All in all we throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

We had a great getaway from cold Finnish summer weather in early July. Hotel was extremely pleasant experience for all of us. Room was great, all facilities were clean and in good condition. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and we all experienced a unique hospitality throughout our stay. The hotel manager Mike really took a lot of efforts to make his customers feel welcome, including us. We can warmly recommend this resort for any kind of stay in Hania Crete.
