After a long coaching transfer from the airport, we were really looking forward to relaxing week and had high expectations of this hotel. One of the first 5* luxury resorts in Greece, it certainly lived up to our expectations and did not disappoint in any way. Greeted by staff at the steps of the coach, luggage taken care of and we were gently ushered in to the cool reception area for a welcome glass of Prosecco and the news of a free upgrade to a deluxe SV spa room! Breakfast is a feast for the eyes and the stomach with a huge choice to suit even the fussiest person. Set in a tranquil area overlooking the pool and beautiful gardens, we looked forward to this every day. On arrival at the beach, we were greeted by a super efficient and friendly team who helped us choose our comfortable, padded sun loungers which are then numbered with your room and are yours for the duration of your stay (we loved this little detail)! A buzzer on the umbrella allowed you to order food and drinks from the fantastic beach team as you wish. Download the Elounda Beach app for all the information you require about the menus etc. Dinner in the restaurants is on the pricey side but to be expected in this class of hotel. We ate twice at the Kafenion and once at Argonaut (Italian) and food was great at both. A special mention must go to some of the incredible staff who made our stay even more special as they welcomed us like family. Georgia who we met on our first day is a huge asset to this hotel - always smiling and super efficient. Whether at the pool bar, the beach or at Veghera serving pre-dinner drinks she always had a smile on her face and we loved chatting with her. Also deserving of a mention are Anna and Marios at the beach who are both really friendly, always smiling and were more than happy to listen to me attempt some Greek! We also loved Apostolis (?) quirky humour at breakfast when he served us coffee and at the evenings at the Kafenion. Every member of staff we came into contact with made us feel so special and this is one of the reasons why we shall definitely be returning next September. Efharisto poli.

Unbelievablly friendly staff who looked after us so well. We were upgraded to a far superior bungalow and all that went with it at no extra cost. The only let down was an unfriendly and unhelpful security guard , who wouldnt let me back into the hotel one afternoon. I had to wait 45 minutes before reception finally rescued me. Perhaps he was confusing my 8 bottles of water with contraband Vodka for the rave that was playing out at their sister hotel next door.

From arrival to departure the service was of the highest level. Room was spacious. Beach and setting amazing. The water so clear. Cocktail bar wonderful at night.

What a great Location..! What a great property to stay..! Excellent and friendly staff, upscale services. A great choice of restaurants with excellent food choices. Award winning Dionysus Restaurant. The rooms in a upscale status , with great fac;initieswith great vies to the sea. I fully recommend for those they wish to have an unforgettable stay..! Veghera Bar…Unique Bar in the world…! Simply great.

I've travelled to some incredible places in my life, but very few have come close to my recent trip and stay at this beautiful hotel in Elounda. I could write a book not a review. The staff were amazing, incredibly attentive, polite, helpful and professional. From the moment we arrived they could not do enought for us. For example, we found the mattress too hard, this was not a problem, they immediately fitted a topper. On arrival, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with steam room and Jacuzzi bath and more floor space. The room was beautiful, perhaps a little dated, buy this only added to the appeal. The hotal has a few shops (including high end jewellery store) and a great range of restaurants, including tradtional Greek style Taverna, Italian and fine dining options. You basically do noy need to leave the resort. There is a choice of 2 beaches. The larger of the 2 has a nice bar, next the watersports area. This aerves snacks and drinks during the day. Make sure you see the guys who work the beach on your first day. The beds they select (ones that are free/available) are the ones you keep for your entire holiday. Whether you lay on the beach or not. So there is no rush to put your towel on a bed, so you can relax during your breakfast. We stayed B&B only, and boy the breakfasts are good. Great selection for all tastes and diets. Breafast staff like all others at the hotel are amazing. There is so much more I could say but I do not want to spoil it too much for you. Just home from an unforgettable week at Elounda Beach Hotel - honestly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Breakfast was unreal - we were excited for it every morning. The rooms had everything you’d need and the views over Elounda Bay were absolutely stunning. There are four different restaurants at the hotel so we had something new every night - loads of variety and everything we tried was delicious. The town is just a short walk away too - a really cute little fishing village with proper Greek vibes and great food. The beach was a dream. The sunbeds were super comfy and every morning someone came straight over to set up covers, give us fresh towels and a cold bottle of water - such a nice touch. But what really made the trip was the staff. They were honestly amazing - so friendly, helpful, and just lovely to be around. The only small issue we had was the air con in our room not working properly, but as soon as we told them, they had someone up to sort it straight away. Can’t recommend this place enough – already looking forward to next year!

We have just returned from a week at this hotel. From the moment we arrived we weee made to feel welcomed. The staff are all so friendly, polite & above all professional. They obviously take pride in their work. Our room was in the spa building and had a fantastic sea view. Although the rooms are perhaps a little dated for some they are spotlessly clean and the furnishings are of good quality. Our room was cleaned twice daily. The towels & linens were very good. It was lovely to have a bottle of wine & fresh fruit on arrival. We were booked in on a bed & breakfast basis. Breaksfast is of good quality and there is plenty to suit all tastes/dietary requirements. Again the staff were all excellent. The pool area was spotlessly clean and there are plenty of comfortable sun beds.A special mention must go to Georgia who brought drinks/snacks to us when we were poolside. She is a star… nothing was too much trouble and it really was service with a smile. The location of the hotel is simply stunning, the gardens are well cared for and so beautiful. The private beach is lovely and we definitely recommend the beach side bar. We did not use the restaurants on site for evening meals but we were assured by other guests that all of them are excellent. We were in Elounda last September at the Elounda Palace and this time wanted to sample the local cuisine in the town. There are ample places to eat and we had some of the best fish we’ve ever tasted. The customer experience team were most helpful during our stay and booked taxis for us into Elounda & Plaka. A special thanks to Joanna from the team who was most helpful and also for arranging a later checkout for us. We want to thank the whole Elounda Beach team for making our stay with you so special. We enjoyed a perfect holiday at Elounda Beach Hotel. You can completely relax here in the beautiful surroundings and experiences excellent food in the restaurants. Elounda, Agios Nikolaos and Spinalonga island are all easily visited if you can pull yourself away from the lovely beach and clear water. This is a special place

We stayed at this resort for 10 nights in mid September and thoroughly enjoyed it - the setting is glorious , the staff are all fantastic and helpful. The slow pace did take some getting used to - until you realise that you you are, in fact totally and utterly relaxed and the resort has embraced you. If you can afford it , upgrade , but the lower tariff apartments we stayed in were still pretty nice. The on-site food is good , but you will have had better , if you like fine dining/are a bit of a foodie and booking a table reservation was easy. I would opt for the breakfast only package - there are a plethora of decent places to eat in nearby villages and towns and you’ll not be tied into dining at the hotel every evening. There is no bar scene as such - it’s all pretty quiet by 12, which suited us but if you are used to a more raucous atmosphere I’d suggest somewhere else. All in all, an amazing experience in a beautiful part of Crete and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to unplug from their everyday and totally relax in beautiful surroundings.

We were upgraded to Elounda Beach from Elounda Palace as we were told that the Palace was closing on 23 October & our stay was until 26 October. My room had a fantastic sea view so the upgrade was wonderful as my previous room was a Mountain View. Private beaches and lovely pool. The staff were all exceptional. So helpful friendly. The food in the restaurants was also excellent. Only downside- bad bath design. When having a shower the bath had a sunken gully around it which filled with water and travelled around the bath onto the floor. This was quite annoying as I had to try and pack the gully with towels to stop this happening. Also the Palace hotel had a rave part on the last 3 nights of our holiday. This meant no sleep as the music was very loud and continued to 7 in the morning. Despite these 2 issues I would highly recommend the hotel.

My stay at Elounda Beach Hotel & Villas was truly unforgettable. I spent two months here, and what made this experience so special were the incredible people who became like family to me - Nikolina, Erini, Marios, Valeria, kirilos and dimitris. I have never met people more genuine, kind, and hardworking. Their warmth, professionalism, and constant smiles made every single day better. They went above and beyond in every way possible, and I can honestly say that my stay was ten times better because of them. Elounda Beach is a beautiful place, but it's the people who make it truly exceptional. I'm beyond grateful for the memories and the friendships I've made here. Ours was the best holiday. We stayed in a most comfortable Sea Princesses Villa, with a private swimming pool and a breathtaking view across the sea. The villa was spacious and well equipped. The bedding was luxurious and the daily complimentary supply of various refreshments delivered into our rooms, delicious. Every day we were looking forward to a breakfast . There was everything one would wish for. We felt spoiled for choice. The staff was always kind and helpful - we do not have words to describe our blissful time in Elounda Beech Hotel. We are definitively coming back.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant facilities and fantastic menus in all the restaurants. Lovely sandy beach with plenty of loungers.Beautiful views all round the hotel complex. Would definitely recommend this hotel for couples and families.

Wonderful relaxing hotel with beautiful beach and a large pool to match. Even when full there is so much space you wouldn’t notice with reserved beach lounges and many other places to be. Every team member strives to give you the best possible stay. Laura from guest experience was brilliant fun and made our second stay here special. A special shout out goes also to Lia and Vassia as they help us book our third stay. Highly recommend.
