This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We booked a superior double room, which was very spacious and well appointed with lots of storage space. It had a large balcony, with views of the sea, pool and gardens. The bathroom was also very large with lots of space for toiletries and little extras like body lotion and a nail file. However, we would have preferred a walk-in shower to a bath with shower over. Towels were changed daily. The air con worked very well. Breakfast was buffet style, with plenty of choice of both hot and cold food. We only ate in the restaurant once, but thought the food was excellent. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff, who were all very friendly and efficient. The only downside for us was that the hotel is a long way from Corfu Town. It’s about 40 minutes’ walk, which normally would have been OK for us, but it was too hot, so we ended up spending a lot on taxis. A taxi to town costs 10 Euros, and Reception will order one for you. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice, with plenty of sunbeds and a pool bar. You can hire beach towels from Reception. There was entertainment by the pool twice while we were there, which was very good, and there’s a nice bar. We would definitely visit again.

In the quiet village of Vatos, Villa Kapella features self-catered accommodation with a balcony overlooking the lush garden. The sandy Myrtiotissa Beach and the pebbled Ermones Beach are within a 2-minute drive. A kitchenette with cooking rings, fridge and coffee machine are included in all the units at the Kapella. Each comes with a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. An iron is provided upon request. This was our first visit to the Corfu Palace Hotel (not to be confused with the Corfu Holiday Palace). It is a lovely hotel, very clean and the hotel staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. In our view itis most suitable for couples. The rooms are spacious although a little dated and could do with some modernisation but all have a balcony or terrace which overlooks well maintained gardens with a sea view. We found the beds to be a little had and the air conditioning difficult to set to a comfortable temperature but as it was October this was not an issue. The gardens and area surrounding the pool are magnificent with plenty of comfy beds and umbrellas but the pool temperature was quite cold and did not seem to be heated which was a disappointment. Drinks are on the expensive side but for the quality of the hotel this is understandable. It is possible to walk into Corfu Town in 10 minutes. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and hope to return at the first opportunity.

We just want to say thank you for a wonderful time. The hotel is very clean, cozy. Beautiful garden and rooms. The location is perfect. But the most important thing is the . staff: wonderful people, worm and welcoming. The service is perfect. Definitely will recomend to my freinds and family Merav Marelly
