Nos Da Ty - Boutique Hotel

Excellent hotel, lovely staff and amazing location. Huge aircon bedroom would highly recommend.

My husband and I were visiting Sri Lanka for the first time and decided to head south as our base. We came across Nos Da Ty by chance, but what a piece of luck it was! The hotel is quite beautiful with spacious rooms with large en-suites. The staff, Indra and team, are attentive and professional. The food, breakfast and supper, was freshly made with local produce and subtle fragrant spices. Truly scrumptious. It is a great base to explore local spots, including Gaulle, and to venture further a field to Yala safari park. We cannot recommend this more highly for a peaceful and explorative stay.

A debut visit to Sri Lanka . Exceeded all expectations and this Boutique hotel is Idyllic in so many ways . The rooms are huge , beautifully furnished , staff first class and service exceptional ! Indra and team are “extra mile “ agents for anything and everything. We were located in a private lane just off the main thoroughfare . Private pool was warm , lush gardens . Birdsong galore and a few cheeky monkey visitors . Food was incredible , lots of fresh fruit and vegetables , beautifully presented and many traditional Sri Lankan dishes for evening meals. Beaches were close by a few minutes walk away with sandy stretches , foaming waves , cafes and restaurants peppering the roadside. We saw all the highlights in our time here . The tea plantation, Yala National Park, Koggola Lagoon Safari, Galle City were just some of the highlights . An unforgettable trip enhanced by our stay at Nos Da Ty - Big thanks to Indra and team.

What a find, an oasis, a place to escape, a place to enjoy and live. A place to recover after 2 years of Covid. A beautiful historic building that has been lovingly restored. Indra is the perfect host. The rooms are large with 4 poster beds and tastefully designed. We were in the upstairs room which had a nice sitting out area on the landing. Downstairs rooms had private balconies.The hotel is in a village so WIFI can sometimes be slow- but who cares, just relax. There is a lovely clean pool surrounded by trees and flowers. Often we were the only ones in the pool, so it felt like our own private pool. The food is amazing - the chef is outstanding, food you would expect in a 5 star hotel and very good portions. All the staff were brilliant, kind, friendly and helpful. 5 minutes walk away is the beach. It is worth going on a lagoon safari to see the sunset. Also not far from Galle, well worth a visit. We wished we had booked for longer only 3 nights, and know we will return.
