Reviews of Crystal Oceanic

The room was large, with 2 large double beds and a single bed, 2 sofas. But No TV although there was a remote control there. No Wardrobe to hang your clothes. The Shower was the best I have had in any hotel with 6 functions and it was a large wet room The Wet Room needs a Extractor Fan so that the paint does not peel off the ceiling, this needs attention. Air conditioning good. The room could do with touching up as part of the ceiling had come down. Breakfast was fantastic in fact I found it too much, so just told them what I would like each day. Coffee was great too. Swimming pool was clean. The position of the Crystal Oceanic was in a quiet area with No shops, and just a few restaurants. The Beach was right across the road but you had to be very careful as there is a very strong undertow, beautiful clean beach.

We are not surfers but like the waves and beeing very close to a bustling small town. It was a 3min walk from the fine sand beaches. The staff was exceptional lead by the main man Malinda Deshapriya who was able to provide everything we needed. Good breakfast according to your preferences. Small pool with sunbeds. Staying on the 2 or 3rd floor is a littke noisy because of a bus road separating the hotel from the beach. But no problem. Good value for money.
