The telephone reservation was just as easy as the fast check-in. Our room was large enough, well equipped and even coffee could be made free. The shower was also all needed for a short stay and was as clean as the room. In the hotel garage was enough room and for the € 8 I could park my car 24 hours there. The wheel could be better because it had too many failures. Not according to the standard of this hotel I found the dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was not at the ambience or the really friendly, careful and fast service, no that what was prepared in the kitchen was not a tasty cooking art for me, but a lay, lovely and inconceivable preparation. And this, unfortunately, passed from the pre-food to the main food to the dessert, and I think that it is too high prices. However, I can recommend the hotel, I think it is better to eat outside the hotel in the nearby surroundings.

Lovely hotel with large, well laid out and very clean room and common areas. The pool, gym and sauna areas are large, very clean and well equipped. Plenty of space for everyone. Great environmental saving initiatives with room cleaning service. Staff are friendly and very accommodating- in booking office as well as within front house services. Easy access to Hamburg and surrounding areas though a car is useful. Food is good with generous portions. Breakfast has everything that can be wishes for, late dining until 11am on weekends and late check out time at noon are definate bonuses. Recommend for families and couples equally.

I was from 28.07.22 - 29.07.22 in the beautiful Intercityhotel Hamburg-Barmbek. We were welcomed by a quite young receptionist. She was very professional and especially friendly. You already felt right well. The wish in the 3. The floor was filled with a beautiful view. The beautifully furnished room has a pleasant size ( we had noticed the cheapest category). The bed was very comfortable and let us have beautiful dreams. There is even Sky Sport/Bundesliga for which men may be interested. Also a minibar with a free water bottle has jumped into our eyes. Very worth praising! Also there was a great rain shower! The only manko was the air conditioning, which was already set at -1 degree Celsius at the arrival. But it was then possible to adjust it individually. What we also felt positive is that there is a free ÖPNV ticket for each hotel guest including. This was very good because we went to Musical ,”Wicked” in the evening and we could conveniently drive to the stage theater new Flora. To the train station you need only a maximum of 2 minutes from the hotel. Generally, this is a very good central hotel. Let's come to the only critical points, and to breakfast, which is currently offered for €17 per person. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed at that point. Most because we paid together at first €51 for it. The breads were very hard. The spoon was dry and the stick appeared not to be made by itself. For this price it was not good at all. Located in a fabulous industrial area in Niemannsland, in front of the gates of Hamburg, you can expect not at first sight a beautiful, excellently equipped small hotel that offers room-by-room four-star standard and that makes a real The room, I had even a family room for myself for capacity reasons, is equipped with a new (although something originally designed) bathroom, offers a lot of space, even a small refrigerator, water cooker, free greeting water and a friendly service. All this at a really good course. The only, but real disadvantage: The hotel is not well accessible with public transport. Who wants to book it for a Hamburg visit should be on the road by car. With bus and train you are on the road over half an hour - per route. And also important: the hotel is not accessible, there is no lift..

TLDR: New aparthotel, near subway We stayed at Aparthotel Adagio Access Hamburg in June-July. Had a family studio for four. Everything is just like in pictures, this a brand new hotel (and it’s not in progress anymore). Our view was on subway side and it was peaceful. We had windows wide open on nights when kids slept and they didn’t notice anything. Location is not in the middle of everything, but it’s between two subway stations (Lübecker Straße and Uhlandstraße). Many visitors seemed to have their cars with them (there is parking space), but we were interrailing and this worked well for us, too. Check out 9 am day tickets! Stayed almost a week. There’s Rewe and Aldi supermarkets nearby and also restaurants (eg. Domino’s). The hotel has basic kitchen appliances + Nescafe machine. You can also loan other kitchen appliances (toaster, coffee machines, rice cookers etc) from the reseption. There is also free air hockey that you can play after 4 pm. There is a small gym (for free) downstairs and laundry machine (you need coins, 4 €/load). You get coffee and tea for free from breakfast area (even though you didn’t buy breakfast, we didn’t), but there’s milk (for latte, hot chocolate etc) only during the breakfast time. Only thing was that our room was next to elevators and the door before them is surprisingly light, and made a sound to our wall every time someone used it. And as we stayed a little longer and cleaning during the stay wasn’t included, it would have been nice if there was a vacuumcleaner or something to loan for cleaning (we loove Hamburg’s spielplätze and most of them have lots of sand….). But this are sooooo little, all of our family said 5/5 and want to stay again. All in all, good choice. Kids loved. Quiet place, good service.

What started as a great experience ended like a damp squib. The room is clean and comfortable although the pillows are far from supportive with scarcely a feather between them. Needed 3 to even notice I had a pillow at all! But the breakfast was magnificent! So much choice and fresh options to choose from that I felt rather excited to enjoy dinner here as on Sundays the bar and the restaurant is closed. Sadly the menu is sadly lacking.. a curry without rice, no burgers, an odd concoction of tagliatelle with no real theme … mushroom cheese meh! I struggled to find anything I even liked to try let alone enjoy. I chose the vegetable curry ( tepid) with the breaded chicken which was chewy and inedible. No refund was offered despite my comments of how awful it was. The restaurant closed at 9pm - so no dessert was offered and many guests were annoyed about this👎 it’s hard to imagine how a city hotel survives by closing the kitchen at 9pm but that’s the deal here. Won’t be coming back I’m afraid The only saving grace was the wine which was excellent and the superb friendly waiting staff. God help them managing the disastrous evening service is all I can say.

Das Restaurant können wir nicht bewerten. Das Hotel bietet für einen fairen Preis eine sehr gute Leistung. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt wie das ganze Haus. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Alles ist frisch und die reichliche Auswahl von sehr guter Qualität. Hervorheben können wir die absolut freundliche Art aller Mitarbeiter in den 2 Tagen die wir hier gewesen sind. Man hat das Gefühl das hier jeder den Job gerne macht und offenbar das Betriebsklima passt. Parken ist problemlos auf dem geräumigen hoteleigenen Parkplatz möglich. Die Fahrt in die Innenstadt von HH ist ohne große Probleme möglich da ein Bus (zum Bahnhof Rahlstedt von dort mit dem Zug nach HH Hauptbahnhof) direkt vor dem Hotel hält, jedoch etwas kompliziert und dauert je nach Verbindung 30-60 Minuten. Fazit: hier würden wir jederzeit wieder übernachten.

Ww chose Cab20 as an affordable way to stay in Hamburg close to the Hauptbahnhof. We also were keen to try the pod hotel experience. Cab20 is a boutique experience that appears to strive for high levels of comfort and design. It succeeds with both. The interior is visually stunning and very functional. It is easy to get to on foot and is close to the middle eastern restaurants in Kurt-Schumacher Allee and the trendy cafes located near Aussenalster. Our pod was comfortable, bathroom facilities are clean and well managed and the common areas are cosy and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. A big thanks to Moses for his friendly conversation and advice on nearby bakeries. We’d stay again!
