This place is not the fanciest motel. I’ve been to. But they have ample truck parking. It could use some work on the parking without a doubt. The motel was nice clean and comfortable. The lady at check-in was amazing. Waffle house right next door. Several other eating places within walking distance. I will be back!

I read the reviews and it seemed like a good place to stay. Someone said it was a ”quiet place”. I don't know where their room was, but mine was on the front side and I had to run the fan all night to block out the noise. The room was fine thought the bathroom was obviously a little sad. The shower curtain was dirty, the plumbing was not attached to the wall in the shower. I decided not to take a shower because I was concerned about it. But the bed and tv was fine. While I saw no problems in the area, there must be, since they choose to keep people out of the lobby. I arrived before 7 pm and had to take to someone through a hole in the window. I don't blame them for wanting to be safe, but if it is so dangerous that they lock people out then I won't be back. Also, they charge $5.00 extra if you want to swim in their pool. Ridiculous. The family that runs the hotel are very friendly. And if you are coming to see the lights at Hopeland Gardens, it is very close.

We have had to stay in 8 hotels in the Carolinas due to the changes imposed on our work during COVID. This is the cleanest hotel by far. Every detail, the floors, the kitchen, grouting in the tub, no dust in the floor moldings. The management here obviously cares and holds a high standard. Great place to work with desk chair and two Ethernet hookups as well. The one bedroom suite allows one person to work without disturbing those trying to rest.
