Because I had mistaken the flight for the original three nights and turned into two nights, I called the front desk, and the duty manager Gene was very good to give up the first night’s room rate, bringing a bad episode to the trip. The stock is clear; but the hotel is generally clean, a bit far from the port of airlie, walking for half an hour, taxi 10 knife, go out is a taxi can also accept; bad is too many ants, 8-6 points The time is almost no service, gave an emergency call, may only solve the big thing like fire or life, our room is not quilt, we don’t plan to solve it once, hang up once, the attitude is very bad, if not Gene, then nice This hotel is absolutely three points. There are 2 girls in reception that are absolutely arrogant and with a terrible attitude. If you have any problem (even caused by themselves), they will never try to help you, and for any question, they give you just fast answers to get rid of you. A girl, in particular, a blonde one with curly hair, left me impressed thinking of how a person can be so mad while working in a tourism facility. If you hate to work with people, why don't you find another job? there are plenty of jobs in Australia. I have been extending my stay different times and every time they charged me with more than the correct percentage for the card payment and I had to push them to correct the mistake. The place is not bad, the location very good, but the girls at the reception ruined my stay and since the beginning made me feel uncomfortable. I stayed in a camping site. The price in a beautiful town like that it's ok, just the site was too small.

Very few Chinese live, maybe the Chinese are richer. A small building in the courtyard is very characteristic, and the three rooms share the same bathroom. Since it was September, the bath was a bit cold. The bed in the bunk bed is a bit small, and the length and width are not enough, even if I am already very thin. It’s easy to get your head down. There is a communal kitchen, and it is really fun to cook in a kitchen every day with people all over the world. Located on the main street, next to the big supermarket. It is convenient to take a day trip.

We loved our stay at The Boathouse Apartments! The rooms were spacious and super clean with an amazing view over the marina. Staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help. We loved the pool and tennis court and there’s a great coffee shop downstairs The location is one of the best in Airlie - an easy flat walk up to the Main Street, lagoon and cruise terminal. Everything we needed was close by. Will definitely stay here again.

The room is large, with separate bathroom, separate shower, kitchen, cloakroom. It is not very neat and clean. At the end of August, there was a sheet on the bed. It was too cold. I woke up at 4 o'clock and found that there was a small blanket in the cloakroom. It was too small and about the same size as today. It was covered with two bath towels. The best is the location, shopping around various bars, BWS, Woolworth walk3-5 minutes away. Airport shuttle is also very convenient.

My husband and I booked a Deluxe King Spa Room for 5 nights, 6 days including continental breakfast. Overall we were happy with our stay. Staff were friendly, room was clean, the pool area was lovely. Only small complaints are that the pillows were not very comfortable and the bathroom needs updating, the water pressure in the shower was very bad. The restaurant in the resort was lovely for our daily breakfasts but very expensive. If you wanted hot food for breakfast you had to pay for it and the price of $5 for a hash brown, $5 for bacon and $3 for a poached egg was exuberant. We realised that the inclusive continental breakfast did not include hot breakfast foods. The choice of other breakfast foods was ok. I, personally would like to give a shout out to Christina at reception for looking after me when I needed a special favour 😊.

No problems experienced in our 2 night stay. Although a bit dated, the apartment was clean, the a/c was quiet and the appliances all worked. The balcony had good views, and when the door was closed the traffic noise below was muted. While it’s a 1km walk to town, there are bus stops close by. No breakfast options nearby though - you have to get yourself to town for that. The pool was fine. Will be happy to stay here again.

I would 100% recommend staying at Whitsunday reflection. Everything about this apartment was absolutely stunning from the decor to the view. Our room was even nicer than the photos portrayed on booking.com and trip advisor. I honestly cannot fault this place especially considering the affordable price per night as well. The staff were also extremely friendly. The only ‘issue’ we had was the cold water tap didn’t really go cold. However we didn’t bother raising this issue to reception as if we had a jug in the fridge which we were filling up but I’m sure if we were to have pointed this out someone would’ve looked at the issue. 10/10 stay I would definitely return!!

Sitting on top of the hill overlooking the north side of the Airlie Harbour is this cute boutique property. There is just a handful of apartments overlooking the pool and parking is out the back. Our apartment was clean and comfy and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchenette is functional and well stocked which is not always the case. We loved all of the personal touches around the property that make it feel individual like the fake croc in the pool. There is a shared patio running the length in front of the apartments with tables and chairs. So nice to sit out here at night with dinner and a glass of wine, feels friendly. Fiona was kind enough to look after our luggage while we went out to the Reef Suite overnight and my bouquet from our vow renewal. We will definitely park ourselves here again on our next trip to Airlie.

I booked at short notice and just managed to get an apartment. Family emergency! I was in Airlie on ” family business' and so appreciated meeting Pam (the owner?) and settling in quickly. I have always love the Mango House. It has such a positive, special ”tropical vibe” I've eyed off for the past 16 yrs on my countless visits there. My apartment was clean, comfortable and over-looked the pool. As a solo woman traveller, I loved it. It was very calming. Felt safe, accessible & quiet accommodation. Perfect for me.! Comfortable! I was confidently left to myself to ”get on with the business” !! It may not suit Sheraton Hotels 5 star travellers...nor those who want a butler!! However, being ex Sydney and appreciating the ”good things in life” it was perfect for me!!! Close enough to Airlie shops, good restaurants, beautiful walks.....really amazing!!! I'll be back as soon as I can!!!

There are 2 girls in reception that are absolutely arrogant and with a terrible attitude. If you have any problem (even caused by themselves), they will never try to help you, and for any question, they give you just fast answers to get rid of you. A girl, in particular, a blonde one with curly hair, left me impressed thinking of how a person can be so mad while working in a tourism facility. If you hate to work with people, why don't you find another job? there are plenty of jobs in Australia. I have been extending my stay different times and every time they charged me with more than the correct percentage for the card payment and I had to push them to correct the mistake. The place is not bad, the location very good, but the girls at the reception ruined my stay and since the beginning made me feel uncomfortable. I stayed in a camping site. The price in a beautiful town like that it's ok, just the site was too small.

This is the longest hotel to stay in Australia. The hotel has a very B&B style, a lot of rooms and facilities. Checkin was two days late, the hotel's aunt did not say anything, but also let us have fun. The hotel has its own small infinity pool that just solves the problem of the Airlie Beach lagoon and pool maintenance. It should be noted that there are two uphill slopes to the hotel, which must be good for young people with good physical strength. If there is an elderly person, it is recommended to rent or about the car. The hotel is very cost-effective at Airlie Beach, with a great view on the hillside. It is a 10-minute walk from the Woolworth supermarket below. It is very suitable to buy food and cook. It is especially recommended to have a car family.

I stayed at another hotel in Airlie beach see the review, and the differences were noticeable. The Shingley is a individual owned 30-40 room location right on the beach 100 yards from the marina. The check-in people and everyone else in the organization's just pleasant, nice and make you feel welcome. There are tons of tiny little touches from cookies to milk in the refrigerator to other things that make it a great four star location. The restaurant is run by a separate company and only open till 2:00 p.m. so having dinner especially on a Monday night is a challenge without a car. Other than that the rooms are spotless most of them overlook the water and the harbor, most are set up like traditional kitchenettes with all the appliances you would need for a longer-term stay. This is definitely a place that family could say in for a week save some money with the kitchen have a relaxing time swim in a medium size pool I feel like it was a good vacation.

Sitting on top of the hill overlooking the north side of the Airlie Harbour is this cute boutique property. There is just a handful of apartments overlooking the pool and parking is out the back. Our apartment was clean and comfy and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchenette is functional and well stocked which is not always the case. We loved all of the personal touches around the property that make it feel individual like the fake croc in the pool. There is a shared patio running the length in front of the apartments with tables and chairs. So nice to sit out here at night with dinner and a glass of wine, feels friendly. Fiona was kind enough to look after our luggage while we went out to the Reef Suite overnight and my bouquet from our vow renewal. We will definitely park ourselves here again on our next trip to Airlie.

The room is large, with separate bathroom, separate shower, kitchen, cloakroom. It is not very neat and clean. At the end of August, there was a sheet on the bed. It was too cold. I woke up at 4 o'clock and found that there was a small blanket in the cloakroom. It was too small and about the same size as today. It was covered with two bath towels. The best is the location, shopping around various bars, BWS, Woolworth walk3-5 minutes away. Airport shuttle is also very convenient.

I booked at short notice and just managed to get an apartment. Family emergency! I was in Airlie on ” family business' and so appreciated meeting Pam (the owner?) and settling in quickly. I have always love the Mango House. It has such a positive, special ”tropical vibe” I've eyed off for the past 16 yrs on my countless visits there. My apartment was clean, comfortable and over-looked the pool. As a solo woman traveller, I loved it. It was very calming. Felt safe, accessible & quiet accommodation. Perfect for me.! Comfortable! I was confidently left to myself to ”get on with the business” !! It may not suit Sheraton Hotels 5 star travellers...nor those who want a butler!! However, being ex Sydney and appreciating the ”good things in life” it was perfect for me!!! Close enough to Airlie shops, good restaurants, beautiful walks.....really amazing!!! I'll be back as soon as I can!!!

We loved our stay at The Boathouse Apartments! The rooms were spacious and super clean with an amazing view over the marina. Staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help. We loved the pool and tennis court and there’s a great coffee shop downstairs The location is one of the best in Airlie - an easy flat walk up to the Main Street, lagoon and cruise terminal. Everything we needed was close by. Will definitely stay here again.
