"The weather was absolutely perfect on the day we checked in, which made the whole experience incredibly worthwhile! I stayed in room 310, which faced directly onto Karakul Lake with views of snow-capped mountains on both sides. The twin beds could be pushed together, and lying in bed watching the sunrise hit the golden peaks was an amazing feeling. Occasionally, camels would stroll past the window. Down by the lake, there were herdsmen with horses offering rides and photo opportunities for 30 yuan. The camp also provided free photo shoots and complimentary costumes, though the photography skills were just so-so. There was a red Jeep parked on the hillside for photos, and some swings and benches by the lake. You could even take a Border Collie out for pictures! Dinner was a bit pricey, but breakfast was filling. At the scenic area's themed post office, you can get a 'Pamir Plateau Warrior' certificate. All in all, if the weather is good, I highly recommend it!"
Aipa Xiaoman Snow View Homestay (Ke Prefecture Glacier Park) ★★★
"I stayed in September and the price was very reasonable. It's right at the entrance of the Kizilsu Glacier Park, and you can see the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains in the morning. I didn't eat there, so I don't know about the food quality. The room was three rooms sharing one bathroom, but luckily the other two rooms were empty, so it was quite convenient. There was a small courtyard, which is nice for barbecues when there are more people. There are also small animals to feed, making it suitable for families with children. The small villages along the way were particularly interesting; there was even a flag-raising ceremony on Monday mornings."

"The room was fantastic, clean, and tidy. The air conditioning, underfloor heating, and hot water made our stay incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed beautiful sunset views over the snowy mountains and stargazing from our beds at night. The hotel even upgraded our room for free, helped with our luggage, and gave us souvenirs when we left! We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit White Sands Lake!"

"Bad Review of Shanye B&B (Muji Township Volcano Scenic Area Branch) I'd like to share with you a truly terrible B&B experience at Shanye B&B (Muji Township Volcano Scenic Area Branch). I sincerely hope you'll avoid it. First, let's talk about the room's cleanliness: it was simply unbearable. The sheets and pillowcases were visibly stained, and I couldn't tell how long they hadn't been changed. They felt damp and unpleasant to the touch. There was dust and hair on the floor, and even bits of trash in the corners. The bathroom was even worse: yellow spots around the toilet seat and residual stains on the sink—it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned properly. Such unsanitary conditions made it completely unsafe for me to stay here. The restroom itself was a serious problem. It constantly reeked, filling the entire room with a pungent odor. Furthermore, the restroom was shared by three rooms, making it inconvenient to use when there were many people, and ensuring cleanliness was even more challenging. The odor lingered for a long time after each use, severely impacting my stay. The room's soundproofing was also extremely poor. At night, I could hear the slightest noise from the room next door clearly, making it impossible to get a good night's rest. I had hoped to relax during my trip, but the poor soundproofing completely disrupted my sleep. Finally, the water heater was incredibly slow to come online. When showering, I had to wait ages for hot water, and the temperature was inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold, making the experience completely unpleasant. In the cold weather, it was pure torture. This stay at the Mountain B&B was a complete disappointment. I had hoped for a comfortable retreat near the beautiful volcanic landscape, but ended up encountering so many issues. I sincerely recommend choosing this B&B carefully to avoid ruining your trip."

"The twin room at Qiyun Jiubie is definitely the most romantic room type I have ever stayed in. The 180° viewing window faces the Kongur Jiubie Peak. You can take in the edges and shadows of the snow-capped mountains while lying in bed. In the early morning mist, it feels like you are sleeping in the clouds. The exclusive terrace is the finishing touch. You can make a pot of tea, sit on the terrace chair, stare at the snow-capped mountains, and every shot will be a blockbuster! Good news for detail-obsessed people in the room: the mineral water in glass bottles is high-end and environmentally friendly, the L'Occitane four-piece toiletries and care set fills the bath with healing fragrance, and even the wind on the plateau becomes refined. Whether falling asleep with the snow-capped mountains as your pillow, or waking up in the morning facing the peaks, every moment is filled with happiness - I would like to call this room the ceiling of the Ka Lake View Peak! ”"

"The hotel's elevator is one step higher than the lobby, and the security guard was very helpful in helping to carry the luggage up the steps. The space in the room is relatively large. There is a couch, which can accommodate many people. It is also convenient to drink tea with friends in other rooms. Many hotels now only have one stool, which cannot accommodate two people."

The room is directly above the No. 1 viewing platform, and I could comfortably enjoy the beautiful scenery of Baisha Lake from the balcony! The room was well-equipped, clean, and of high quality, featuring an oxygen concentrator and humidifier, all controlled by a smart system, making it extremely convenient. The staff were diligent and responsible, providing excellent service. Dinner at the hotel was excellent; the cold-water fish and yak meat were both very good. Breakfast wasn't extensive, but it was definitely filling, with the meat buns being the most delicious. This hotel should be the best choice for tourists needing to stay at Baisha Lake! Five-star recommendation for those who want a high-quality experience at Baisha Lake."

"Though expensive in general, the stay was cheaper than in other places around. The reception lady (maybe owner) came to pick me by car from Karakul lake, which was very kind of her because the place was a bit far away. She was also nice to borrow me her phone to make a local call. The village (or town) where the place is located was nice, farther from the main road (no car noise), and had a good bar nearby to have a meal. The room (number one, as far as I remember) was nice, but had the sink broken (where it sticks to the wall), water leaking to the floor when using the sink. There was only cold water from the shower (maybe I shouldn't expect otherwise in places at this altitude, but I think there was something there suggesting water heating). The room and the reception were clean, but I can't tell the same about the other rooms in the reception building. Contrary to the contract, there was no breakfast in the morning and noone nearby to ask about it."

"On October 20th, after traveling from Taxkorgan County via the Panlong Ancient Road, we arrived in Tar Tajik Ethnic Township in the evening. We found the Apricot Flavor Guesthouse, run by Anareguli. Tar Township is a key national tourist town and a major settlement area for the Tajik people. It preserves very traditional Tajik customs and boasts different scenery in each season. In March, the apricot blossoms are spectacular, and there are also very ancient walnut trees. The clear Tashkurgan River flows past the village, making it a stunningly beautiful place. The Apricot Flavor Guesthouse is an authentic Tajik-style house, and it's also Anareguli's own home. It's a very nice guesthouse."

"The water from the bathroom was yellow, and there was a water and power outage at night. The room was so small that two people couldn't turn around. The boxes had to be pushed against the door to open. A plate of Kung Pao Chicken cost 158 yuan. Breakfast was very slow. North Shore Cloud Camp of Baisha Lake
"The B&B is on the way from Baisha Lake to Muji Volcano. The scenery on the north bank of Baisha Lake is very good but there are few people. It is very suitable to choose this place as a transit accommodation from Kashgar to Ta County. The homestay is run by several local guys. The conversation is right and enthusiastic. The service level and comprehensive quality make me feel very amazing. The room hardware facilities have nothing to say. The key is to configure a disposable oxygen inhaler, which effectively solves the high-reverse problem. The cooking in the canteen is delicious. Not only effectively promoted the employment of the village name, the price is also much higher than the several homestays on the east bank of Baisha Lake. The homestay is built on a livestock village, backed by a snow peak, facing the Baisha Lake, the scenery is bursting, and I can enjoy the sunset of Gonggeer Peak Jinshan. I also went to the pasture behind the village to stroll around. It was a very light and pleasant stay. Experience, I will go to stay a few more days next time."
