Richmond Hotel Akita Ekimae

The room size was decent, and the front desk staff were friendly. However, there was no complimentary water in the room. The breakfast area was quite small and the breakfast itself was just okay – enough to fill you up, but quite basic compared to other hotels' offerings. Overall, not great value for money.

The location is decent, quite close to the station. The room is very clean and comes with tea bags, bath amenities, and a facial mask. Breakfast is a bit pricey; there's a place nearby with similar prices but a much better ambiance, which is also part of the hotel. The hotel has parking, but spots are very limited. Finally, a reminder to everyone: absolutely do not forget your check-out date, or you'll be charged the walk-in full price, which is equivalent to paying for nearly three nights' stay for just one day.

The staff were all very helpful. The amenities were also excellent.

The room was good, spacious, and clean. However, parking is limited. If you check in during the evening, the lot is usually full, so you have to find parking outside and pay extra for it.

The twin room was exceptionally spacious and quiet.
