As a first-time visitor to Tunisia, I had the pleasure of staying at the delightful El Mouradi Port El Kantaoui from November 18th to November 22nd. Let me share my delightful experience with you! 🌟 First Impressions Matter: From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by an inviting ambience. The lobby exuded warmth, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. 🌴 A Clean Oasis: El Mouradi Port El Kantaoui takes cleanliness seriously. My room was impeccably maintained—fresh linens, spotless floors, and a pristine bathroom. It’s the kind of attention to detail that makes a stay truly memorable. 🤗 Staff That Steals Hearts: The real magic, however, lies in the people. The staff at El Mouradi Port El Kantaoui were not just courteous; they were genuinely warm and welcoming. Whether it was the front desk team, the housekeeping staff, or the restaurant servers, their smiles were infectious. They went out of their way to ensure my comfort, and for that, I’m truly grateful. 🍽️ Breakfast Bliss: Each morning, I look forward to the complimentary breakfast. The spread was delightful—fresh fruits, pastries, and aromatic coffee. It set the tone for my day of exploration in beautiful Tunisia. 🏊‍♀️ Poolside Serenity: The pool area was my sanctuary. Lounging by the water, sipping on a cool drink, I couldn’t help but appreciate the well-maintained surroundings. Stayed in this hotel with my mum who is 73 yrs old … unfortunately we came on the 1st September unbeknown this is when the Algerian holidays were … we were the only English in the hotel and were shown where to eat which was in a makeshift area not the main restaurant as this was only for soft bands .., not all inclusive … felt we were not worthy . The Algerians were given priority !! After a discussion with managers we were told we could eat anywhere we wanted however no food as the Algerian people took all food then left it on the tables !!! Disgustingly wasteful , we are out at hard rock most nights and other restaurants. The beach restaurant was lively during the day . Staff amazing and waiter service … the best place in the whole hotel to eat. Staff on the beach lovely but had to pay for mattress for sunbeds !!! Or lay on a plastic broken sun lounger !!! Also the drinks at the bar not good … handed out cans of beer as no draft !!! If wanting bottles of water they were at a charge even tho all inclusive !! These should be free however charged for water by bar staff!!! Bought 10 bottles to put in room as ran out of water. Snack bar in lower lobby between 3/5 small sandwich . Nothing left for other guests as only sandwiches made by 1 member of staff was like being in a prison getting rations Wifi sporadic only worked in reception area not near pool and intermittent in room …. Staff tried to be accommodating however Algerians took over the place . Even the children were disgusting and so rude. Very clean in communal areas and cleaners work hard to keep hotel Clean … however clientele very dirty leaving cig ends and rubbish all over even tho bins to use, communal toilets also dirty and no paper towels or toilet roll to use. Rooms need updating as old, we were on the reception floor very spacious however wardrobes and dressing table area infested with ants . Also in the bathroom . Shower in bath enamel in bath all chipped and very sharp when stood in bath to get a shower had to put a towel in bath to stand on as not to cut feet !! Clean towels daily in roomshowever only 1 large towel daily had to ask for more towels as 2 persons in room. All in all I think we chose the wrong week which put a total Dampener on our holiday. The Algerian rude people were everywhere and totally took over the hotel and they were gready and wasteful with food … Love this area of Tunisia however this hotel Not the best … would never return to this hotel however have stayed at the other Mouradi hotels which were a lot better booked to return November so will walk past this hotel and put it down to experience!!!

Very nice Hotel. All the Team are very friendly and funny. The Animation Team are very funny and outgoinging they Help you in any Situation If you need anything they are there. When i Had to dicide I would come Back anytime. The food ist also great. Lots of Love to Rico, Tito, Franko, Cookie, Ramos , Yada , Wafa and Mario.

Quiet stay, good reception, excellent services. The hostel needs renovation and more maintenance.

We have just returned after a great holiday here. This hotel offers many things: Rooms: nice and spacious with tea making facilities, dressing gowns, slippers and safe. Anything you need for the room just ask, found staff super efficient in supplying whatever you needed. They leave bottled water every day and the towels and bedding are changed often. Dining: They normally have 2 sittings for dinner, but as it was low season we could go whenever we liked. You are allocated a table that is yours to use for the entirety of your holiday, so none of this walking in and searching for a table for dinner. For breakfast and lunch you can sit where ever you want. I found all the restaurant staff so helpful, pleasant and super efficient, especially Makram and Chokri. The variety of food was great. Drinks: We drank mainly red wine at dinner and it was good. In the bar there was a varied choice and all good. I would recommend a liqueur called cafe de Kaco...delicious. Entertainment: Once again, lovely staff and so friendly, plenty of activities on offer but they are not pushy. Grounds: Plenty of space and loungers, 2 pools (a little cold for me) but there is a heated indoor pool too. There is a lovely man who is happy to bring your mattress and towels, we tipped him a few times but he doesn't expect it at all. You also get waiters walking around the pool area to take drink orders which is very nice. Beach is nice where you can have camel rides or various water sports. Lobby: Staff at reception very helpful and pleasant, the only downside to the lobby was that it was very cold. Al a carte restaurant: very nice setting, you get a choice of fish or beef and there are 3 courses with a bottle of wine on your table...we found it very good although the beef was a little on the tough side. All in all a beautiful hotel, maybe a few little tweaks needed here and there but it does not detract from the overall quality of the hotel, the staff who look after you and the enormous efforts they go to in making your holiday experience the best it can be.

We stayed here for a week as a family and we had an excellent experience. The staff go above and beyond to keep everyone happy and catered for The entertainment team were amazing and they kept us entertained all week. They offered a variety of shows and day time activities which included Archery, Zumba dance, Darts aqua aerobics and kids shows. Special mention go to Hamed the waiter. He is one of a kind. He deserves a ProMotion for his excellent service overall the staff make this hotel. Mondo and crew thank you for an amazing holiday. We will definitely be back. The facilities are excellent too and all areas were immaculate at all times

We have been to hotels all over the world.We spend xmas every year usualy in spain but wanted a change this year and deceided to retutn to Tunisia after 25 years. We were amazed by this hotel. We were met on arrival and taken to reception. We had 2 rooms booked and were given rooms side by side with an amazing sea view. The staff could not do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble.The food was great a huge variaty and yes sometimes as you find with self service could have been a bit hotter but there was a microwave there and after a few seconds the food would be piping hot. Bar staff were so attentive and would replace drinks before you asked for a refill.Our only complaint would be the entertainment, it was very poor and angled for the locals. Xmas eve and New years eve buffets were mind blowing, set out lovely and so much selection. Prawns, lobster, swordfish,turkey,beef wellington and much more. Too much to mention.The hotel is in a great location. We will be returning to this hotel again. This was one of the best holidays we have ever had.
