We recently had the pleasure of staying at K16 Apartment in the heart of Akureyri, and I was thoroughly impressed. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. The apartment itself was spacious and cozy, providing a welcoming atmosphere. I appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette, which had a complete set of cooking tools, making it easy to prepare meals during my stay. The check-in process was hassle-free, using a convenient PIN system. Overall, K16 Apartment offered a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Akureyri!

During my trip around Iceland, this was my favorite place to stay. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, and there's a laundry facility. It's perfect for families.

Easy to check in, location is good

K16 located in town center, parking is free for guest! Room is spacious, you can enjoy cooking in the room. There are lots of supermarket nearby and they open until 8pm. Worth to stay here

This self-catering apartment is highly recommended. It is located in the city center and has complete facilities including a separate kitchen and bathroom! The room is very big and there is also free parking! 

There is a free washing machine available, there is a kitchen oven microwave is very complete, the room is large, the TV has Netflix to watch and Chinese subtitles, very close to the city, you can park the car and walk around, the only drawback is too little parking space too late to go back no space, to park across the street, send email to ask the landlord questions, the landlord reply quickly.

Value for money room! Not bad! You can cook, but the space is not very big. Everything is self-service. Please check your email before check-in. You will be sent a password. The door password is the same as the room password. The heating is sufficient and the hot water is also good! I had a super perfect meal here. I made it myself.

Akureyri is the largest city in the northern region. The K16 Hotel is in an excellent location, facing the parking lot of the cathedral. It is just a slope with a high and low drop. There is a clearly marked dedicated parking space at the door of the hotel. Parking is free. The room is clean and tidy. We booked a room with a twin bed and a sofa bed. The area of ​​one bedroom and one living room is not small. The most important thing is that there is a small kitchen where you can cook by yourself. Cooking utensils, bowls, and tableware are all available. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and the commercial street. We chose Japanese food for dinner on the first day. It is only a three-to-five minute walk from the hotel. It should be said that it is a high-quality hotel option for accommodation in Akureyri. It’s a pity that the cathedral was closed to the public for two days because there was a funeral held there. We could only walk around outside and couldn’t visit inside.

It is very close to the city center. After parking the car, you can go shopping, go to church, eat, or go to the supermarket to replenish food. The door and room passwords will be sent to your mailbox at noon on the day of check-in. After you check in immediately, you can also wash and dry clothes. Convenient👍🏻

The hotel is newly renovated and very close to the airport. The hotel also provides airport drop-off service. However, the drop-off service is very rare and can only accommodate 4 people at most. The attitude of the front desk is very cold, which is much worse than that of the city hotel. If you leave at around 6 o'clock in the morning, the breakfast is only orange juice, yogurt and coffee, which is not appropriate for a hotel that mainly serves airport passengers. The heating in the room cannot be adjusted and it is very, very hot.

There were unknown stains on the quilt. It was too noisy by the window, and I was woken up by the sound of motorcycles outside every night.
