The room was a bit compact, and we weren't in the main building. However, the room was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was the most abundant I had during my trip to Iceland; it pretty much included everything you could think of. Great value for money overall.

Nice and cozy hotel with clean bathroom. They also provide Loccitane shower gel and shampoo!

We had an enjoyable 1 night stay in the newly renovated boutique wing, which we requested for. The hotel was in the midst of transformation so we expected hiccups but there were none. Our room was compact but newly furnished with a very comfy bed and stylish amenities like a large Samsung TV, coffee machine, Marshall speakers and L'Occitane toiletries. We were hoping for a city/fjord view instead of the hill fortifications out back. Still, we enjoyed the new hotel facade, plush lobby cocktail lounge vibes and ease of free parking out front. Breakfast requires one to walk out to the next building annex but the hall had roomy seating and plenty of options for a nice Scandi breakfast. The airport is a 5-min drive away, the city centre and waterfront all 5 minutes away on foot. A nicely updated base for Akureykri and North Iceland.

This hotel was very beautiful. Its location in the Centre of Akureyri. The staffs was friendly and helpful. The room was small but it is enough for 2 of us. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast has many choice. Will comeback again .

Located just 10min stroll to city centre. Nice walk in the morning to visit the sites and have a cuppa beside the bookshop or at a cafe on the slope

I booked two rooms at this hotel because the booking showed a discount for booking two at a time, so I did. The first room staff arranged an accessible room for me, so the toilet is larger, the room can play a suitcase more than enough, the room does not have slippers or water (actually all in Europe), hygiene is no problem, but the second room I was more dissatisfied, the room is super small and roof It's a sloping roof, every time I get up I hit my head, the room doesn't even have a trash can, only the toilet has an extremely small trash can for throwing sanitary napkins, no hooks to hang clothes, I don't know if I booked a special room to arrange this room, if so, I'm not short of twenty yuan euros to book a little, (If this room is arranged because of the special price, I hope to list when booking) Because the booking did not show what room to stay, breakfast is quite good, staff service is no problem, there is free public parking outside the hotel, so I will book this hotel next time,

We were lucky enough to check in that morning and get an upgraded room, which was a fantastic experience! We were even luckier to see a spectacular aurora explosion from the roadside entrance that evening, though we missed it the following night. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. The cathedral and botanical gardens are within walking distance, and we were lucky enough to attend the 11:00 a.m. church service on our arrival day. The organ and choir were fantastic, and the breakfast was varied and varied. Although it was Western cuisine, it was also suitable for our Chinese palates. It was a truly worthwhile stay.

The location is very good, in the center of Akureyri town, convenient for Citywalk. The hotel is large, the rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is included, and there are plenty of parking spaces. It is highly recommended!

When we visited on our honeymoon, they even gave us a glass of champagne! The rooms were clean and great! The reception building and the accommodation were in separate buildings.

There are many restaurants near the hotel. The hotel I booked comes with breakfast, but even if I stay alone, I still have to pay for breakfast for two people. The bathroom floor is warm, and it dries quickly when it gets wet, and you won't feel cold even if you walk around barefoot.
