Diamond Hill Resort Hotel

Just returned from 2 weeks at diamond hill, travelled as a family of 4 and had only a couple of minor issues. Room layout was good, nice and clean slept 2 adults and 2 kids no problems and was made up every day. Might as well get my 2 issues out the was as they where in the room. First the key card, we was on floor 6 and needed to attend reception around 10-15 times over our 2 weeks stay for it to be reset after not working. Reception said this may be as the key is near a mobile and so we kept it separate but didn't help much. After the technical staff had a look it worked for about 9 days with no problems until needing resetting again on days 12/13. The other issue was a pressure one with the shower but sorted right away by the technical staff and was no issue after this. Food and drink excellent always something for everyone with plenty of options, drink also good with plenty of cocktail options. Pretty much food and drink available from 0730-0000. WiFi was decent worked everywhere for us apart from the roof bar and dining room. Pool was very good, loungers seemed to plentiful for all the beach the same, sea was very nice deep pretty much on entry so may not be suitable for young kids, food and drink also available at the beach. Around the hotel plenty of shops and markets selling the usual at good prices, a couple of excursion shops too, we went on the boat tour and to the water park using minister tours, highly recommend them. The other excursion shop alanya tours was more expensive and the geezer running the place was abusive when he saw I asked about his prices and then went to the place and paid them not what you want when on holiday so do yourself a favour and just use minister. Entertainment was a little hit and miss, around the pool a few games going on, darts, water polo, some pool games and on one day they had a blow up course. Nothing to write home about but was ok. In the evening was mini disco and then some games for example bingo (payable) a couple of nights they had shows on a magic one and some African dancers as well as a Turkish night with dancers. Overall a very pleasant stay, would certainly return. I would also recommend interwest transfers findable on Facebook, I used them for our transfer and was 55 euros each way private transfer payable when you arrive at your destination. Was at the airport for us and at the hotel as stated and decent VW transporter transport too with water for free.

Amazing value for money week away. Booked the trip online and expectations were not high given some of the previous reviews but could not fault it. The staff were excellent throughout and the quality of food and drink on the all inclusive was better than other resorts we have visited. Room was a good size and all facilities we needed. Would definitely visit again and friends have already booked on our recommendation

What a great place to take a break, spent eight nights here with 5 others 3 of whom were teens The hotel is clean, very friendly and clean in all areas The food is well above the normal all inclusive standard with a very varied menu every day, I put on weight ! All of the staff are very efficient, very friendly and always smilingThere were standout staff members who really do deserve a mention, Matt, Smashing young man who mans the rooftop bar, did I mention the rooftop bar with great views over the city and ocean ! Nobby who manned our station in the restaurant, somehow I don't think Nobby s his real name but I never did find out his real name :-) Qzlem working the lobby bar, always happy and despite lacking much English still managed jokes with our party, and I know with other English people staying there Meryem, the customer liaison, again very pleasant and very helpful at all times, with a wide range of help with any and all available activities that were provided by the hotel and various places around the city I will return with my own family and a few friends As for Alanya itself, it is a pleasant place, the usual touristy seaside place but without being pushy, there are a lot of beaches and parasailing, Jetski type things to do, BUT, and I highly recommend, the Jeep Safari, lots of fun, interesting places, lunch included, take a towel with you AND a water squirter ! and DO NOT wear your best clothes LOL Book through Kocagoz Turizm, cheaper than the holiday if you book direct You can lounge around the pool or go to the hotel's own beach bar 100M from the hotel, swim etc, or just chill on the bar deck and watch the sea

Having a marvellous week here was only 3 days but extended it to 7 days all the staff are so friendly they couldnt do enough for us my husband was in wheelchair and the staff helped him up ramps etc the animation team are really good now entertaining us after changing them My only downfall there wasn't a disable toilet round the pool area when my husband went to toilet in wheelchair he had to leave door open which wasn't very dignified we couldn't fault anything the hotel rooms food we enjoyed everything definitely coming back and would recomend hotel to anyone se u in october A big thank you to all the staff God bless u all xx

Realy Nice experience I enjoyed so much in diamond Hill resort. Best persoon in the hotel was dogan from entertainment. I recommand this hotel. Next year im coming Again. Food was realy good. Cocktails were also amazing

The location of the hotel is good because it is high up, with a beautiful view of the Alanya peninsula, which you can enjoy from the roof terrace or even from your own room if you book a sea view /if you dont pay for sea view room you have big chance your room will face the construction site. The reception area and lobby is so nice, reception staff is really kind. Rooms are acceptable, and enough nice, cleaning is ok in rooms. So it was the strenghtness of the hotel. There isnt enough elevator in hotel sometimes you have to waiting for it at least 15 minutes especiall at breakfast, lunch, dinner time, or evening.There arent enogh tabe in restaurant, lots time you have to walking with your plates and waiting someone finish the dinner. 60% of the staff do their work so borred and slowly. (of course there are some smiling, helpful person too.) The food is variety but not good, you can eat something wont be hungry, but its not like a 5 stars Turkish hotel. There isnt too big hygenic in restaurant, I think cold cuts there isnt enough cold place.By the pool there isnt enough sunbed, if you wont wake up early, anyway there isnt any private zone, I mean neighbour sunbed is about 5cm far from each other. Pool is 160 cm and the jacuzzi part is so little, almost always full. Animation in hotel very poor, actually I have never been in a so borring hotel. There was a chies of them and about 5 member and some who deal with kids. But there wasnt programs. At morning they do clubdance but they did it without energy, so bored,after it was a game which called darts but you played it a big table with ball, its ok a funny game, after it aqua gym with 1 grils its ok, and poolg game was that stand on a surf desk and how long can you jump rope on the surfboard, or swimm with surf desk, at afternoon max a waterpolo. Evening children program, and max bingo, ask a dj, or 1x a week Turkish nigh. But at night most of guest cant sit down by the stage just standing all night.There is application for the hotel where you can write your oppinion about tthe hotel (like here on tripadvisor), I wrote there about poor animation, and after it animation chef asked me why isnt it good. I said him there are a team so they would be able do programs, there were really lots younger, and active people from every age, the hotel was full and almost nothing program, like you could see animation program board was almost emty. So I suggested how many other sport and dance or game programs would be able to arrange here and people would love it, they would like better the hotel and the time wouldnt be borring. Go to the pool is borring on 2nd day. His answear was that its hot so guests woudnt do anything on 30 C. Its crazy answear I suggest look at other Turkish hotel where there is really good animation how work it, or check hotels where there is really hot (like Egypt etc) and they do programs from 10:00-13:00 and 15:00-17:30 . The hotel itself is a good hotel ive been coming to this hotel for many years. I came with my partner and my friends. Im so dissapointed in the food it has been absolutely rubbish for the whole 2 weeks stay apart from odd meal. I wont be returning to this hotel, def not a 5* hotel the hotel itself is good amenaties good but could do with toilet block nearer to pool snack bar or at least a disabled toilet
