Le Rez de Jardin Albi

Excellent location. Beautiful place with nice view. The staff it was excellent and very nice person .

We spent two days in Albi at the end of 3 weeks in France. Le Rez is a 3 storey stone building just over the bridge from the old centre of Albi. The owners live in the house and rent out 4 suites (adults only). We had a large suite with a modernised bathroom but a traditional bedroom and sitting area, complete with a small fridge for our wine, beer and water. Individually chosen art covers the walls. We were warmly welcomed and had several delightful interactions with the owners over our stay (aided by the fact that we speak French). The location is fantastic with very easy access on foot to all the sites. There is a food market on the street on Saturday. There are several excellent restaurants in the area and the hostess has prepared a list and made a reservation for us at one of the most interesting. An exceptional breakfast was taken in the garden. It was very hot (38-40C) and continually sunny while we were there so access to the very nice pool was vital. The bedroom was warmer than we would have liked but the owners have done their best with good fans to help sleep. We loved our stay and are very happy we found Le Rez on *******. It was a unique experience and one we would repeat.
